So I should have kept the box that it came in around for more than two days. It installed very easily and worked immediately. Ran once went back to the base to recharge. The next day, the red light was on, and it said that it did not recognize the battery and to install a new iRobot battery. I took the battery out, cleaned all the connections. I even rebooted the entire iRobot. Unplugged the base took out the battery and left it out for three days. Same thing. We’ll never buy again. I apparently received a faulty battery. But in reading reviews, this seems to be a pattern.

It was an easy swap for my dead battery. It comes with its own screwdriver. After fully charging the new battery, it ran for more than 45 minutes before recharging.
