This is regarding the DEVMO 3PCS 3X Microphone Sensor High Sensitivity Sound Detection Module for Arduino PIC AVR.From what I can tell, this module is for detecting sound to withing 0.5 m. It does have an analog pin which I think I can get the wave form of the audio it receives.So far documentation and application examples for this are hard to find.The mounting hole is great for positioning this in a specific location.The circuit workes well independantly from arduino.The product is well made. No flaws in the board and all the solder joints are shiney and strong.This is a good purchase at this price point.

I hoped to use these modules with an Arduino or Raspberry Pi-PICO, but never could get them to produce a useful signal. The documentation is sketchy at best. I unsoldered the electret microphones and used them with a couple of op amps to get a nice signal out. Not worth returning. Without setup information they're useless, but I got three electret mics anyway. What do the two red LEDs do? Who knows. Which way to I turn the trimmer potentiometer? That info is missing. (The red LEDs are so bright it's difficult to see the screwdriver slot on the trimmer pot.)

Great for my project that requires to detect sound in the environment. While havent tested the functionality of this sensor, my review is based of quality of this product. I will recommend it.

Original order was missing 2 modules but seller was super understanding of the quantity mix up (they also sell individually so it was a simple error). They were very friendly and quick to send me the missing ones. All work great! Highly recommend.
