This is a great pin nailer, easy to use and able to be used in tight spaces. I was nervous given some of the reviews but also have had good experiences with my other DeWalt air powered nailers. It is important to pay attention when loading to make sure that the pointed end of the pins are oriented properly.Leaves a very small hole that often does not even need filling.Would buy again

I had a job that required me to install 500sf of 3/8 recycled tongue and groove teak panelling on a ceiling. The tongues were very thin and using a brad nailer left too large an inset and often split the tongue. I did some research and opted for this gun. I couldn't be happier. This was one of the only guns I could find with both depth adjustment and a low nail lockout. Both worked flawlessly. For this kind of production nailing the lockout is mandatory. I could see going half a row of boards and realize your showing blanks without it! The depth control was great. It enabled me to countersink the pins in the joint. They hold pretty well, not as well as a brad. I fired 3 pins at every joist at opposing angles which vastly improved hold (boards were glued too). You can imagine how many of these I shot -- almost a whole pound of Grex stainless pins (that's a lot). Not a single jam. Not a single misfire. Amazing. I don't think any other nailer I own could do that (I own a lot). When you want to flush nail it's an easy adjustment. The nose opens with a simple clip and depth is easy to adjust. If it ever did Jam it would be super easy to clear. Lastly... I said it was a ceiling right? I must have dropped this off the top of the scaffold about 50 times, 8' onto a stone patio. Never missed a beat. I can't recommend this tool highly enough.

I have had omar , makita, and all the rest. This is by far the best 23 gauge pin nailer. The features on this nail gun have been well thought out. Very compact and can use it all day. Every nail has fired perfect up to now . Iv had it over a month and fired over 10000 nails though it and its still as new. No more nail jams or miss fires. Iv been using 18mm nails . So can't say on other sizes. But the gun goes up to 50mm . They may be a bit of a challenge. The rubber tip also prevents dents . Wich even 23 gauge guns to get very small dents . Yes completely oil free mechanism.. no oiling the gun! It also has dry fire so you know when you have run out of nails. It leaves approximately 15 nails in magazine . You also have a bypass button that you can depress so you can use the remaining 15 nails . If your up a ladder or something and need a couple of extra nails . Excellent tool. Comes in a case with 1 strip of 30mm nails. No oil! Belt hook on side of gun . It seriously is not worth buying cheap 60 quid guns as they break down after a few 100 shots, miss fire and jam. This is built to last and 10000 nails I have used is prob more than the average person would use in a life time. Also the magazine is not long so it fits the short strips that every one sells . The replacement firing pin is only 10 quid . Which I cant see me buying any time soon . Most important thing though !!! Set compressor to 90 psi . Any thing above will dammage o rings and wreck gun . Its in the instructions . I know people don't check there compressor psi . Probably set to 120psi or above. Average nail gun pinner works from 90 psi . So check that before use. Or you will destroy it in no time
