so far they are good in design and quality, but very hard to insert the bits and to remove, and not all fit!

Hold the bits don't wear it. don't wear out. Always worth the money. I own 5D World drills. All Dewalt screwdrivers, all Dewalt pits, including drivers. Dewalt's salts of Dewalt Sanders. I'm an appliance tech, and I use them every day. And I've been nothing but satisfied with default.

I think some of this is covered in the product specs or description (or other reviews), but may be worth repeating. The hex shaft of this bit holder is not magnetic. This prevents it from attracting metal shavings, apparently, but also means it's not going to get along well in a magnetic bit holder (if, say, you were hoping to use it as an extension for a short, magnetic-only bit holder). Works fine in locking bit holders, though, and probably in drill chucks as intended. It has a retaining ring that is *very* tight, and is probably specifically intended to prevent bits from being removed by a straight pull, in case they get stuck in a screw or something. Try wiggling the bits from side to side to get them out, and you may need to use a pair of pliers. The ring can be removed with some effort and the right tools, but you're probably not going to put it back in once you do that. Given the strength with which in retains bits, I don't think you want to use this with typical, 1-inch insert bits, but your mileage may vary.Ultimately, this is a well made bit holder that is basically unsuitable for *my* purposes.

I received three but they were all loose in a plastic bag. Each is engraved with the DeWalt name. They seem very well made. The magnet that's inside is very strong, plus there is a C clip on the inside that also grabs the bit. If the bits you're using have a little notches around the outside, when you push them in to the bit holder, the seat clip will grab onto them and make it virtually impossible to pull them back out by hand. If you're using bits on an impact driver this is a great feature. But if you're using these holders where you're going to be switching bits in and out often, it's a pain in the butt and you'll need pair of pliers to pull bits out and even then it's difficult. Personally on two of these holders I used a very small watch flat blade screwdriver and pride the C clips out of the ends of the holder. The magnet is still more than sufficient and provides a lot of holding power so I'm not concerned about bits falling out. I left one holder with the c-clip in just in case I want to use it on my impact driver. Overall you get three good high quality bits that you can convert by taking the C clip out, or you can leave it in. It's an easy modification to make.Noticed quite a few reviews of people saying bits don't fit. But that's just a problem of the C clip and they're not pushing hard enough to get the bit into the holder. There's no reason for standard quarter inch bits not to fit into this bit holder. I just don't think those people have the experience with this type.
