This bit broke after drilling a few holes. I could see an issue if I had it buried up to it's neck then got it all twisted in the hole but it broke about 3/4"-1" from the tip. Very strange. I have been doing masonry for 30 years now so operator error is not the problem. I grabbed one of the old Bosch bits from the drill box and drilled all day. I have lots of Dewalt tools and this defective bit is proving the notion that they "jumped the shark"

I have drilled more than 50 holes in 4" concrete. It surprised me how fast it went through the concrete and the last hole was just as fast as the first. I am very satisfied with this bit.

Didn't last as long as some others. 3/4 seems to be a difficult size, I've had lots this size break.

I give 5 stars but did have a problem where the cutting tip broke away from the bit, possibly it hit something in the existing concrete, I drilled 65 - 6" deep holes prior. I've used these LONG LASTING over the years and highly recommend this brand. Let's get to work America.Thanks,
