I'm a diesel mechanic of almost 20 years now. I started back when a decent flashlight had D batteries and halogen bulbs. They were too big, too heavy and changing batteries all the time was expensive and annoying. Then I graduated to power tool flashlights, but they're often too bulky, too heavy, too dim, too expensive and never seem to be the right shape to set them up to shine on your work area. Then LED's became a thing and I've tried so many different kinds. Everyone has different needs and preferences and I just never could find one that I really liked - until this little guy. This thing is small, sooooper bright and has all the right mounting options for me. I primarily use the magnets for mounting and I just love that the light not only folds, but it pivots too. I think it looks awesome and I love the USB charging. I personally prefer a light that is more white or even a touch of blue, so I though I wouldn't like the "warm" light this emits, but honestly, it's been fantastic. Here's the two issues I've found with this light.1. Battery doesn't last as long as I'd like. I wish I could get a solid 4-5hrs out of it, but it's more like 2-3. I guess I can't ask too much out of a light this size.2. When the light sits flat on it's magnetic base, it cannot be folded to shine at any angle. This is because the pivot itself is too bulky, so in certain positions, it interferes with the mounting surface and will push the front of the light up, loosing magnetic contact. That's a bit of a pain in some circumstances.Other than that, after 6 months of every day use, I just love this thing.

Having been through many generic battery powered small LED worklights over the years, and finding them to be cheaply made although basically functional, I decided to invest in something better. This was also prompted by a recent power outage when none of my usual ones could be found, stumbling around the house in total darkness.I decided that whatever I bought, I was going to get two of them, and make sure they are from a good brand, and have rechargeable batteries that can tolerate being always on the charger except when in actual use, and they needed to be handheld-small and/or pocket-able, have a built-in stand and the ability to swivel in different directions while on the stand, and be able to attach securely to metal objects using integral magnets, and be equipped with a hook that would allow hanging form conduits, pipes, etc.I selected this "DEWALT LED Light, Powerful and Compact Work Light, Magentic Handle, USB-C Rechargeable" light, and did indeed buy two of them. The DeWalt model number is DCL182. At the same time, I bought one of the companion USB chargers, the "DEWALT 2-Port USB Wall Charger — NeverBlock Worksite Charger — Dual 5V/2.1A Power AC Adapter" which was two USB ports and is thus able to charge both lights at once.I am very pleased with these lights. They seem to be made in a sturdy way from good quality materials. The magnets are appropriately string to hold the light securely on objects such as the front of my refrigerator, metal file cabinets, door hinges, etc; and still be pulled off of those objects without having to exert a lot of force. The folding "stand" is made of black anodized (I think) metal, and seems to be very sturdy. It is oblong shaped with an internal open area that looks like it will easily fit around any water pipe, conduit, or other cylindrical bit of hardware. Since it is a complete oblong, it has part of one side hinged with a spring to keep it closed (like a carabiner), so you can hook it over things easily. The lamp part both hinges and swivels in all directions from the oblong stand/hook, and it does so firmly, holding its position well yet being easy enough to reposition. The stand is heavy enough that the lamp can or swiveled to pretty much any position without overbalancing the stand and tipping over. Part of the lamp's thickness nestles down inside the oblong's open area when folded up, so it is like a large bar of soap, and certainly pocket-able (in a coat pocket, or cargo pants pocket). To my surprise the lamps came with their own short USB-A to USB-C charging cables. Nothing about the cables was mentioned on any of the online information I saw prior to purchase, so I had actually bought a pair of "Amazon Basics" cables of the same configuration, but turns out I did not need those after all.I have a duplex wall outlet near my front door, with one thing already plugged into it. Because the DeWalt charger (mentioned above) has its USB ports arranged at the corners, the charging cables exit out diagonally, and thus pass to either side of the plug in the lower socket of the outlet. I need to whip up a small shelf to mount to the wall near the outlet, so both of these new lamps can rest there, always charging, until needed. The DeWalt user's manual specifically states that these lights are designed to be left plugged into the charger all the time unless being used. The only controls on these lights are as follows:- USB-C jack with a hinged rubber water/dust resistant cover- Multicolor LED that shows charging status, and when in use it shows how much charge the battery has- Pushbutton switch with an elastomeric cover to make it water resistantWhen charging, the LED lights up steady red. When the battery is charged, the LED either lights steadily green OR turns off (it does seem odd that WHICH of those things it does is not clearly defined). If the LED flashes while charging, this means that the battery charge controller inside the light has determined that the battery is too cold or too warm, and charging will not take place until it is in a reasonable temperature environment. If the battery itself get too hot, the LED will flash alternately green and red, and charging will be suspended until it cools off.The battery can be connected to the charger at any time, regardless of its current charge state and/or its temperature, without fear of damage or other ill effects. The battery type is Lithium-Ion (Li-Ion).When the light is being used, the LED indicates remaining battery charge:- Green means >50% charge- Yellow means >25% up to 50% charge- Red means - If the charge gets to be - If the LED does not light when the power button is pressed, it is necessary to charge the battery. When fully charged, the light is specified to operate for 12 hours (low brightness setting), 8 hours (medium brightness), and 3.5 hours (high brightness).Pressing the power button once turns on the light; it always powers on at it high brightness setting. Immediately pushing again selects medium brightness, and following immediately with another push selects low brightness. After a short time delay, any additional press of the button will turn the light off. The brightness is specified at 1000 lumens (high brightness), 500 lumens (medium) and 250 lumens (low).I found the light pattern to be very good. It is not too diffuse, so it can be used as a flashlight, lighting when you are walking in the dark, and it fills smaller areas (e.g. a bedroom) with enough light to see fairly well. Used within a few feet of an object or surface, it is bright enough to get work done.

Achei tudo perfeito.

We live in the countryside and it is pitch black here at night. I have tried dozens of flashlights and spent quite a bit of money on batteries and nothing comes close to this one.It has 3 levels of brightness, is rechargeable, has a clip that also doubles as an adjustable stand, and the light itself swivels, too. So you can either stand it up, hang it up, or clip it to your belt or pants. There's also a magnet in the handle so you can attach it to anything metal as well. It's also extremely durable (yes, I dropped it quite a few times already because that's just me) and illuminates a large area.
