I bought one of these for my shop, and used it primarily for listening to music and audio books while I worked. I started taking it all over my property with me for the same reason. Any DeWalt battery will last forever in it, and it's loud enough to be heard over the noise of my other DeWalt tools while I'm working. It's also very rugged. I've dropped it several times and never made a dent in it.When I built a hunting camp halfway up the mountain, I realized my cell phone would go dead in the middle of my hunts and I couldn't check the time at the end of the day to know when it was 30 minutes past sunset. I would also bring a digital recorder to record wildlife, and that battery would die within a few hours. I finally remembered that this DeWalt Bluetooth Radio was also a generator. So, I brought it to my camp and never had to worry about charging my phone and recorder ever again. I've had it up there for over a week now and haven't had to replace the battery in it. Just in case, I simply throw an extra DeWalt battery in my drag bag and bring it with me.Since I don't want to lug the radio back and forth, I decided to buy a second one for my shop. They're well worth the purchase.

We love this. Placed it at the our exit of our coop for fast hand cleanup! It’s easy to forget to wash our hands on a ranch, but pretty sure it’s a good practice!

Desafortunadamente el producto no contiene instrucciones y no puedo instalarlo debido a que no se cómo ponerle las pilas.Por otro lado el producto no trae el gel incluido y como no hay un instructivo tampoco se cómo debo solicitar el gel para este modelo. Yo ignoro cual es el modelo del producto

Excelente producto, muy eficiente, lo recomiendo al 100%.Es importante precisar que este producto no incluye la batería de 20 V/60 V FLEXVOLT Dewalt, pues éste se vende por separado. Aun así estoy satisfecho con la Radio, su cable de alimentación es muy gruesa y larga, por lo que es sencillo alcanzar cualquier conector sin problema alguno, y lo mejor es que lo recibí antes de tiempo. Excellent radio. Bluetooth feature is fantastic and has a decent range (2 floors in a framed, unfinished building). It is loud, storage compartment underneath is nice. The fact it charges cellphones and other devices off battery power alone is a bonus. Unlike the old dewalt radio, if there is a battery in it and you unplug the radio it wont shut off (Although it was nice in a way because you knew right away when you tripped a breaker.)Amazon's price is much better than Home Desperation and other such stores.The cons: I don't like how the battery is exposed on the back. I find lots of sawdust, concrete dust, silica ect collects there and I just dont like that stuff getting all jammed in the battery connection. I find the LCD is hard to read at certain angles and it is heavy. If you're in rough construction this is the radio for you. If you more on the finishing side and have other trades/customers around you might want to find a smaller unit. Also This radio takes up about a 1/5 of the space in my GreenLee so keep that in mind.

Excellent radio. Bluetooth feature is fantastic and has a decent range (2 floors in a framed, unfinished building). It is loud, storage compartment underneath is nice. The fact it charges cellphones and other devices off battery power alone is a bonus. Unlike the old dewalt radio, if there is a battery in it and you unplug the radio it wont shut off (Although it was nice in a way because you knew right away when you tripped a breaker.)Amazon's price is much better than Home Desperation and other such stores.The cons: I don't like how the battery is exposed on the back. I find lots of sawdust, concrete dust, silica ect collects there and I just dont like that stuff getting all jammed in the battery connection. I find the LCD is hard to read at certain angles and it is heavy. If you're in rough construction this is the radio for you. If you more on the finishing side and have other trades/customers around you might want to find a smaller unit. Also This radio takes up about a 1/5 of the space in my GreenLee so keep that in mind.

Bought this off Amazon a few days ago and Im putting it through the paces using it outside and inside, while working on my driveway, Im using a dewalt 20v grinder to cut the cracks so I can seal them up, and when the battery dies on the grinder I am recharging it off the radio while using another battery, it charges the batteries up quick and gives a great charge, Ive plugged in a couple other tools into the radio, and they worked great, I adjusted the +/- eq to the setting I like, and the radio sounds really good outside, makes the time fly while working.I keep my cell in my pocket and adjust the volume up or down while the radio is 10-50 feet away or farther, when I get a phone call, the call goes right to my cell speaker, and not through the radio which I prefer. the radio picks up stations well,no static like from some radios, the bluetooth is a newer version and works great. Using the radio on the inside of my home, I just crank it up in my weight room and sounds better than my boom box Ive had for a few years, it can get pretty loud for a small "boom box" , So far the feel is pretty rugged , buttons are well placed and easy to use, Ive charged my phone while using the radio with the usb port , no issues at all. I like that when I go to the flex volt batteries for my 20 v, and when I start getting 60v tools this radio will not be obsolete. Im happy I picked this one up, Great job DeWalt! Thumbs way up!UPDATE: 06/15/2017 Bought the flexvolt 60v 6ah battery DCB606, and used it in this radio and I got 3 days of playing the radio at medium volume on 1 charge, when it finally died it took exactly 2 hours to charge the same battery with this radio.
