Snapped this onto my Godox Speedlight and immediately saw that the light power was softened down in my photos. It is made of the typical plastic material that is somewhat hazy to produce the nice whtie bounce. It is very easy to store and i just keet it on the top of my flash when i am storing it so it is just a great elegant solution.

I ordered this because I don't have room to pack my big softboxes when we're traveling for my partner's work, but I want the option to add a little more light to indoor shots sometimes. This does well at making the light from a basic camera-mounted hot shoe scatter so the shadows aren't so harsh, but it excels when the flash is used off-camera as a 'slave', triggered by the camera's pop-up flash in flash sync mode--well-lit portraits are possible with this and a pop-up reflector for the fill light, and the gear needed (beyond my tripod, of course) fits in a tote-style purse.Don't expect magazine-quality results out of a $7 diffuser--that's setting expectations a little too high...but for what it is, it's a pretty handy little piece of tech. And it's also possible to slip a small gel over the flash head before installing this, if you want to warm or cool the light or use the flash as a secondary light source to wash a background in color while flashing the portrait in daylight white.

Bought the flash, but prefer this deflected to the one that came with flash.
