I had a simpler version of this one without the air mouse. I have to say I really like the air mouse. Especially because you can turn it on or off, which means you can position the cursor at a specific place on the screen, then turn off the tracking which means you can gesture with the pointer, but the mouse click button still works where you want it!

Like the green laser, mouse function work fine.Forward and back buttons for advancing slides would be better if the top button advanced the frame and the bottom backed up a frame. Unfortunately just the opposite. Not culturally intuitive.

This works really well though usingbthe mouse with the pointer has a slight learning curve to gesture to the correct area depending on where you are standing in relation to the USB in the computer. The green laser is much easier for people to see than the traditional red lasers as well. The mouse comes in handy when presenting on a monotor since the laser is hard to see on a monitor but easy to see on a screen or wall .

Update: The company reached out to me and tried to troubleshoot the problem. The troubleshooting didn’t help. However, the company sent me a replacement promptly. Like, the next day it arrived! I have updated my review due to the customer service from the company and the willingness they had to try to help and solve the problem. Very happy to have a replacement for my classroom!I loved this when it came….but, unfortunately, it only lasted 5 months. I used this in my classroom every morning to go through slides with my students. I loved the pointer feature and the mouse feature. It was green, which was easy for my students to see. The battery held great. But, this only worked for 5 months. I had thought it would last at least 1 year to 1.5 years. It turns on, but will not switch the slides, even though I can hear the sound notifying me that it connected to the computer.I would definitely go with a different brand due to the fact that it didn’t last even half of a year.

I give 4-5 presentations a month and having a hand held device to scroll through my slides allows me the freedom to walk and move about a room during those much easier. Only real issue I have is that the pointer doesn’t track with my hand movement very well and I find myself having to reset it constantly. It’s not bad enough for me to return it but, it might if I was confident I would have same issue with another one. The green laser pointer can be a little too dim to see at times but, I don’t use it all that much anyways so no biggie.Company reached out after my original post and helped fix the problem. Very thankful for their response!
