It was a little worrisome ordering this costume because they usually don’t fit right, and these had tights. I forgot to try it until minutes before walking out the door on Halloween, and I was shocked. The shorts fit perfectly, and I still had room, but they weren’t back. They were a little thinner, but not translucent, and the shirt was like a regular medium-thick dress shirt with buttons. The colors were really bright and looked exactly like the picture. They came with glasses, which were really neat because they were a cloudy color. I chose this costume to be comfortable on Halloween as I would be walking around, and I felt like I was just in my regular clothes, so it was extremely comfortable. By the end of the night, the costume held up and was very durable. I will definitely be able to wear this for years to come. The fact that it came with a two-piece outfit, glasses, a really neat hat, earrings, and a chain was such a great price!

I bought this set along with another brand's 90s tracksuit set that was sized better for taller people (I'm 5'2") and I think they complement each other very well. In terms of this set specifically:Sizing: Fit true to size, I'm not drowning in the shirt and I don't have to take in the waist on the shorts. I'm used to matching outfit sets being mismatched for my body (e.g., the shirt too small and the pants too big or vice versa), so this was an awesome surprise.Quality: The material is silky soft, mid to light-weight, and feels like it won't tear at the slightest twist or bend. The seams are not wonky or unravelling either. All-in-all, good quality. This goes for the bucket hat, too. The only thing I really, really wish is that the clothes were machine washable. I would probably wear them as around the house and and as pajamas if they weren't hand wash only.Accessories: This set comes with gigantic gold-painted hoop earrings, a gold-painted chain necklace, and a pair of 90s-style non-prescription glasses (not sunglasses). It isn't immediately clear based on the first few pictures in the product listing that the glasses are not sunglasses (it gets clearer further down in the listing) so that's something to be aware of. The jewelry is of a cheaper quality than the set I bought from the other brand -- I can tell it will chip much easier. I will also have to take a pair of pliers to the earrings to fix the clasps on them in order to get one of them to unclasp so I can put it on and the other one to clasp and stay on. I'm not sure I would trust putting them directly into my piercings (would be great if they were clip-ons, which would also give people without piercings the option to wear them). But I will improvise and loop them into a pair of small hoops.Because of the minor accessory issues and the lack of machine washability, I'd give this set a 4 out of 5.
