Does not properly fit my 2 gallon mason jar drink dispenser. No matter how I try to line up the threads it doesn’t go on evenly and eventually stops twisting about half way while sitting at a slight angle. I remeasured my jar opening and don’t understand why it’s not compatible. My jar’s opening from outside edge to edge is a smidge less than 5.5 inches. The 5.59 inch measurement shown in the product listing is confusing to me, as I didn’t know if that was the interior measurement (to account for the plastic threading) or the overall size. I posted a photo of the interior measurement of the lid (the white ring is the plastic threading).The lid being stainless steel - while this lid is nicer and much sturdier than the tin lid that came with my dispenser - is a warmer metal tone and kind of clashes with the chrome spout.FYI my dispenser reads “Yorkshire Glassware established 1898” on the front of the jar if that helps. In my photo you can see my original tin metal lid (with the dent) on left and this stainless lid on right.

These lids do not create a water tight seal on 2-gallon glass beverage dispensers. They are advertised as such, but I'm trying to use these for fermenting, and tilting the dispenser on its side will results in a stream of water. No matter how tight or loose you try to adjust the lid. I ordered a second set of lids just to be sure, but had the same results. These lids need to include an o-ring or gasket for a proper seal.
