Great room divider curtains! It blocks out the lights and helps with noise.

For one thing, the instructions could be better. The online photos show various ways to use this, but the only instructions you receive show using the horizontal cross-bar to hang drapes very near the ceiling, with the brackets installed at the very top of the vertical supports, so you'll have to un-do them if you just blindly follow the instructions but have other intentions. The worst thing though, is that the part labeled "B" doesn't look exactly like the illustration, so you have to pay close attention so you don't install it the wrong direction. I figured out how it goes by checking the next step (3), where it shows that the part "A" must insert into the spring end of part "B". Another issue is that they don't mention how hard it is to insert the "feet" (part "G") onto the tubes- I used a kitchen pot-holder to protect my hand, btw, & you'll find it's easier to install the "feet" on one rod section first, before you assemble multiple rod pieces together. Anyway, if you're using this in a more creative way, & want the horizontal bar at a lower height, you'll need to do some preliminary measuring & install the brackets "F" at the appropriate place on the vertical assemblies. The rods do all screw together easily, with length options provided both by the "step adjustment rods A" & also the shorter rods "C" which can be used instead of 2 of the longer "H" rods. One of the reasons I liked & ordered this was the options shown, but as I said, those don't appear in the instruction folder, so just be aware, if you want the horizontal bar at a lower height for hanging plants, a room divider- privacy screen, your wardrobe, etc.. I do a lot of swimming, so I installed this in my garage to hang & dry various things (beach towels etc.) near my laundry sink. Even with a few minor assembly challenges, the fact that this is sturdy, looks nice, takes up very little space, is multi-functional, & seems to be of good quality with no parts missing gets a strong 4-star rating from me. And I agree that it's a good option for renters too, when permanent modifications aren't allowed.

Great way to divide an office or bedroom. I have it up in my home office/craft room. Sometimes I need to share the space, and this way I can indicate I don't want to be disturbed. I wish I had had something like this when my dad was on hospice at home and the only place they could put the hospital bed he was in was in the living room. We could have created a sort of "wall" for him to have more privacy. I could see this being useful in many circumstance. Maybe even in a dorm room. I like how easy it was to set up.

Ideal for separating a shared room for privacy where there isn't a door or wall or could function as a backdrop as it looks great once dressed up for one.Easy assembly with inexpensive light weight quality materials and so you may want to weigh it down with sandbags.

My home office I have setup so I'm facing my window (the backs of my monitors are against the wall next to my window). However, there are items in my home office that I don't want people looking in and being able to see, plus sometimes a family member will walk in, and I don't want them in view for online meetings.I picked a photographic backdrop to hang, and this is working so amazingly! From outside, it looks like you're looking at bookshelves, etc. Same for my meetings online. Definitely happy with this room separator! You could also use it for portable curtains for any use.
