The unit has continuous draw for an onboard L.E.D. they don't mention or show in the pictures so you must install a switch or let it draw power all the time. It's a SMD LED red, so it is very low draw but if you're trying to use a small battery you better have a switch. Seller please put that in the description. Other than that it's a fantastic unit so far, works great 👍

Works just fine even though I gave it some hard time while playing around.It heats up quickly while driving 12V motors continuesly but it's fine for short bursts. It handles changing polarity for changes in rotation direction pretty well

Works great for my small tracked robot project. I'm feeding it 7.4VDC, and running my arduino off the 5vdc output. nice feature!
