A very nice drum cap. I ordered the 12” size and it fits fine on my 10” X8 Lava Lamp djembe (10” being the drum head playing surface, not the full diameter including ring and ropes). The padding is great and the elastic is tight enough to stay on well but not so tight that it is difficult to get on. It would be nice to be able to choose the color, but it ends up I got the black/green one, which I probably would not have chosen, but ends up matching the colors of the drum very well. This drum cap is exactly what I needed. I would definitely recommend it and may order another cap for one of my other drums.

Repetition increases remembrance - I've heard it - and thinkin' on it - I've gotta believe that repetition increases remembrance. The more times you repeat something the more likely you're going to be thinking on that thing you're repeating and, therefore, odds are you'll remember it. Guess it's true - repetition increase remembrance. And if repetition increase remembrance it seems logical that redundancy should increase protection. I've got breaker, and surge protector going to ground, north of my Solar controller to protect my system from catastrophe – lightning. In the event of a lightning strike I don't want all that amperage coming inside, and I don't want to have to rely solely on that breaker – chances are surge protection won't be enough. Enter this beautiful little terminal fuse block to provide redundant protection before that amperage gets inside. I split the positive from PV array, added two ring terminals, and mounted it under the eve. This is a nice little terminal block with a 5/16” lug terminal that accommodates whatever flavor fuse you choose. It comes with a fuse of the amperage ordered – nothing stopping you from swapping that out for a different value if need be though. Lug leads go over stud on top of fuse and get cinched down. The bracket that holds it all together has a hole for 3/8” bolt or lag screw. It's simple set up that gives me peace of mind and helps me remember that repetition increases redundancy. I have used other, more expensive, MRBF terminal mounts in the past and these seem to have the same quality as those.

So, it's a fuse holder. Aside from trying to judge the quality, not a whole lot I can tell you about it. On the quality side, the fuse fit nicely onto the post, no excessive play, etc. The fuse also mates well with the insulator at the base of the post, another quality point I appreciate.The base metal bar seems to be of sufficient thickness for the rated 300A.Overall, looks like a good pick to me! I will be using this as the connection of my 2000W inverter to the 200AH LiFePo4 battery pack on my trailer.

I keep a 100A LiFePO4 battery in the bed of my truck. I use it to power a high performance air compressor, and an inverter. This fuse assembly mounts directly to the battery terminal, and all loads connect to the output side. This is the safest method of protecting all the wiring downstream of the battery. Very similar to the more expensive Blue Sea brand, but at a lower cost.
