It does the job but is very light weight so starting the engine is better done with two people

adequate, but may not be a long term solution....After 2 years of use I have to upgrade my review to 5 as it has proven to have longevity.

The support braces were installed upside down with rivets. As originally installed the braces would not rest on their corresponding pins rather, they merely continually dropped free providing no support, no connection to the forward leg at all. I did a simple fix by hacksawing off the rivets for each support brace and then purchased two bolts and nuts to reattach the braces properly.Edit: I have had this motor stand for some time now with my four horse two-stroke resting on it. Stationary, the stand is fine. However, make any sort of movement - an adjustment in location though minor, or to tilt the stand with motor and roll it to an entirely different location, the stand is quite flimsy and especially the horizontal support brace on both sides easily slips off and makes a cumbersome/risky situation of trying to hold the stand, wheeled legs of the stand, and boat motor upright while trying to reposition, reattach the horizontal supports to the stand's front legs.Overall, because of the aforementioned edit observations, I do not recommend purchasing the item.
