Enchufe el adaptador
La instalación es sencilla Con tu vehículo apagado, simplemente desconecta la fuente de alimentación de tu espejo retrovisor y reemplácela con el adaptador de corriente Dongar Dash Cam. Para hacer esto, puedes presionar las pestañas de plástico en el conector y desconectarlas del espejo.
Diseño de doble potencia
Una vez que tu adaptador esté conectado a tu espejo, conecta tu Dash Cam y la fuente de alimentación original al adaptador. Nuestro diseño de doble potencia proporciona potencia tanto a tu cámara de salpicadero como a tu espejo.

I was able to install this in about 20 minutes. It works perfectly and make my dash cam install very clean. Make sure to install the usb plug facing away from the interior of the cabin so the blue light of the plug doesn't intrude through any gaps in the trim pieces. I would have preferred that the plug didn't light up at all so the the plug could be oriented in any direction.

The Dongar Adapter is great alternative to hardwiring your dashcam to the car fuse box. However in order to use this or any of their products, your vehicle needs to have power running to the rear view mirror. I can verify that this works with a 2020 Mazda CX-5 GT with the home link mirror and sensor shroud. Kit comes with adapter, short (micro and type-c) usb cables and a trim remover tool. Installation took 5 minutes. Price is reasonable considering you may not feel confident removing your car’s trim and hardwiring to the fuse box.

Installation was easy. Fit under the garage door console behind the auto dimming rear view mirror of my Mazda CX-50 pretty easy. Nicely tucked away. Worked well to hide the dashcam wires. Cable length was perfect to fit into that little area. Although the price could be a bit less.

Installed on 2024 Mazda CX-5 in Preferred trim level and worked perfect. Very easy to install (10 min at most) and offers a perfect power solution for my dash cam. No more dangling wires or long wire runs to the fuse box.For full disclosure, I did search and watched in advance some videos for installation on my car. Once you know how to take apart the covers behind your mirror, everything else boils down to unplugging and plugging back in two connectors.It is not inexpensive for what it is, but the wiring is perfect for the car is intended for. So, in my opinion is that the value is there. You get what you are paying for - perfect fit and hassle less installation.
