It’s a solid cable and it sounds pretty good. Got it for my buddy who’s learning the bass and he loves the right angle connector. He loves the material so that’s good, I was hesitant on it because afraid it was going to kink but he loves it so far.

One sentence review:Gets the job done, but at the price point, don't expect a premium feel.Detailed Review:Background on me: I run a mixer out for multiple guitars, keyboards and FX configurations. I perform on guitar on keyboards and manage my own rig. Good, effective Cable management solutions are important to me.I gave these a try when I wanted some extra cables around and didn't want to break the bank. The value is definitely there obviously, and my ears do not notice any significant audio degradation compared to others, BUT, if you are like me and own lots of cables and these are cables you handle every day, you might find they become your least favorite because they have a gross waxy exterior not present on other braided cables (such as fender, musicians friend, etc), and you will always be able to tell them a mile away because they they do like to roll up in that familiar circular bind like a ProCo or other braided cable and instead prefer to remain in a sort of "lumpy" oblong with lots of straight parts. However you bind them tight in more of a vertical fashion, this might work for you.Visually, I appreciate that Donner didn't slap their branding on it everywhere, which, while I'm not trying to insinuate the brand has a bad reputation or anything, I just don't like when companies take really unnecessary opportunities to advertise on a paid product. Again to refer to the competition, you only really know what "brand" those cables are if you know.If you're just getting started with straightforward cabling setup or have budget restrictions, these will perform just find getting your Audio to point A to point B, but if you're at that point where you want "good" cables instead of "any" cables, or running some kind of crazy setup, I suggest the ProCo cables instead as a budget friendly option. You don't want to feel like you want to wash your hands in between changing rigs and you want your cables to flow freely so you can snake them or store them effectively.

This cable worked great for me in my practice area for the past 20 months, and then it suddenly died tonight. (I mean it still kind of works, but needs to be wiggled into the exact right spot, so not really)It never left my practice area and was never abused. Seeing as it cost only $16, I suppose I can't be too upset, but it's still a little disappointing to have it break when it was actually treated quite nicely for its whole life. I can only imagine how fast they wear out from gigging.
