This part replaced a oem module on a 2008 F250 w/ a 5.4L 2v V8.My truck has a Knapheide bed, so locating and replacing the module was a bit easier (no spare tire mounted under bed). It was still a bit of a pain to get oem plug undone, but once that was done (use a pick or the specialty tool for the lock style harness plugs) all went pretty smooth.The new/er design of these modules is much smarter than the oem! The standoff pieces supplied with most the modules are very helpful and keep road grime/gunk from getting stuck on/behind/in the module.

Perfect fit and function. Nice to get away from the corrosion of the own unit that was mounted to the cross member. Very happy

I have a 2011 chevy Traverse and my fuel pump module went out..The dealership wanted me to tow my truck to get the replacement module programmed...This is very costly, because not only are there towing fees, and also there is the usual high dealership fee..I am so glad I found this because it not only was it preprogrammed but it saved me lots of money..The customer service great when I had issues with the first unit...I replaced it with another one and have been working fine ever since.

Had problems with my truck stalling when raining. It would generally start again after a bit, sometimes not until later/after some drying time. I ended up taking it to Ford dealer and they told me I needed this module and also a new fuel pump. The total estimate was over $1,000. I asked them how they knew the fuel pump was bad and I was told that they tested it, didn't really believe that both went bad at the same time so I told them forget it, I'll fix it myself. I ordered this module from Amazon and once it arrived I installed it in less than 30 minutes and my trucking was running good again. It cost me more to have them tell me what was wrong than it cost me to fix it myself. This happened in 2017 and my truck is still running good more than 4 years later (on the same fuel pump).
