I recently purchased the Dorman 684-058 Parking Assist Sensor, hoping it would replace the original. Unfortunately, my experience with this product has been quite disappointing.From the moment I installed the sensor, it began to malfunction. It frequently goes off for no reason whatsoever, triggering false alarms even when there are no obstacles nearby. This constant beeping is not only annoying but also defeats the purpose of having a parking assist sensor, as I can no longer rely on it to provide accurate information.I tried repositioning the sensor and double-checked the installation, but the issue persisted. It's clear that the product is either defective or inherently flawed in its design. Given the high expectations I had for this product, this experience has been quite frustrating.I would not recommend to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy parking aid. Save your money and invest in a better-quality product.

After a month of usage bought a replacement for this as a precautionary measure. Glad I did. This sensor would randomly go off in any condition. New one has no issues at all. Wish I would have known this sensor was the one causing problems so I could have returned it earlier.
