So impressed! Excited to find these stainless steel plates, both aesthetically pleasing and fully functional. Excellent plates for daily use in kitchen, outdoors and good size for travel and camping. Wash beautifully. Picked up the matching bowls. Non-toxic and great for a simple lifestyle, no fuss and take up very little space. Practical, functional and beautiful. Glad for this gem of a find. Well done Hydro flask.

I think these plates are awesome! I haven’t used them camping yet, but I really like that they have insulating qualities and won’t blow away. They definitely have some heft to them. They are quite sturdy. I like the size. I have smaller plates that I use for camping at times. These seem like a really nice compromise on size. The reason I’m giving them 4 stars is because I assumed the bottoms were powder coated stainless steel, but on removing the bottom stickers and washing them, they seem to have plastic bottoms. I won’t be able to set them on the campfire grate to keep food warm in that case. I didn’t intend to heat food on them, but when the weather is cold, slightly preheating the plate or being able to keep food warmed near the fire was something I intended to use these for. But the plastic would melt in a situation like that. I’m hoping water doesn’t end up getting trapped between the layers. That’s something I also didn’t foresee being a potential issue. It seemed ok so far, though. I’ll update if that ends up being a problem. In the meantime, I really like them and hope they are as great as I think they’ll be, despite needing to adjust my intended use a bit.

I’ve been looking for new camping plates for a while and had been eyeing these. They are expensive but having handled them, i am confident it’s worth it. Feels like great quality and the matte surface under looks and feels good. Will probably last forever
