The build quality of this tool seems great and the placement of the notches and size of the opening seem perfect. The 3/8 female slot has good tolerance and fits my breaker bar snugly without falling off. I appreciate that it's all metal and is not painted. I have a black painted one that I got last year which is no longer available on Amazon, but it doesn't slide onto the oil filter cover easily and tends to get stuck and you need to pry it off, so I'Il be using this one from DPTOOL from now on instead. For anyone new to oil changes, it's definitely a great way to save money and is easy to do, just be sure to watch some tutorials for your vehicle's make and model and get all the tools you need. There's just the upfront cost for the tools but in the end you'll save money. You can do it!

Great filter housing wrench, fits snugly on the filter housing of my Gen 3 Prius. My old wrench didn't have the notches, so it would sometimes slip when trying to loosen the filter housing. This one is great, it's made of metal and seems very durable. It fits well on my 3/8" ratchet.It doesn't have a detent in the square drive which is actually a plus for me. My other one had a beefy detent and the extensions I use have a pretty stiff detent spring so it would require a bit of force to remove the extension from the filter wrench which could be problematic when I try to remove it while under my car. Even without the detent, it still fits snug on the extension, and it doesn't slip out when I use it.I would definitely get this specific filter wrench if I need another. I'll probably only need another if a neighbor steals it or if I need to give one as a gift because I don't see it breaking at any point during my lifetime.

Direct replacement for what I needed. Identical to what the dealer sells but it’s not red . Perfect fit with no issues !

Perfect fit for my Toyota filters. Works very well and being metal I can't see why it wouldn't last forever.

Exactly what i needed to do oil changes at home for my 2011 corolla. The oil filter adapter is made out of a strong material and worked very well. Easy to use and quickly connects to my ratchet. Save me money going out and doing the oil changes.
