La forma del plato, permite que el alimento esté en el centro, con el plato plano tenia que estar constantemente juntando el alimento porque si lo el gato ya no lo comía. Los materiales use pueden limpiar muy bien. El gato se adaptó perfecto a comer en el.

I bought this for my old exotic who is a Voldemort ( no nose) and she loves eating food off it. She’s still quite a messy eater compared to the automatic feeder. Nonetheless, it’s all about making eating enjoyable for her. Will recommend.

Product is as seen in picture. Comes with a rubber placement mat. Cat has no issues with the bowl. I noticed less leftover than with previous bowl. I think it’s helping with whiskers fatigue

Update: my picky cat 🐈 still loves this bowl! And it’s still in great condition. Easy to clean even dried on food, never smells. Don’t forget to clean the black silicone mat (both sides).Original post: When we first adopted our sweet cat, we used a cheap dollar store bowl that was small and shiny. My cat ate from it but would always leave food behind - I had to feed her the remaining food with a spoon and if I didn't, a lot of food would go to waste as she would never return to eat. I tried serving food in a low profile bowl and a flat plate but food kept getting pushed out on to the floor. At times, she would look at the food, stare at me, then walk away. I was starting to get a complex! I already have one picky eater in the house (my kid), and I didn't want another one!I did some reading and learned about whisker fatigue (it's legit, people!) and this bowl was recommended. The price is higher compared to other bowls, but I thought I would give it a try. Since day one, our sweet cat has eaten all of her food from this bowl! Either all at once or, she will take a break and then return 15 minutes later to finish the rest.I like that the bowl is a muted stainless steel and that the rubber bottom is separate from the bowl. Both are easy to clean and maintain. Our cat mostly eats freeze dried raw food with extra water for moisture, with the occasional meal of canned wet cat food. The bowl is wide enough that any food I put in stays in the bowl, even when she is actively pushing it around while lapping up food. No post meal clean up!I should mention that even though Dr. Catsby's site recommends this particular bowl for dry kibble only and suggests using the deeper water bowl for wet food, I find this bowl works for us as our cat eats multiple small meals throughout the day. For example, with Stella and Chewie, she will have between 5-7 freeze dried morsels for a meal. With Primal Raw, she will have 1 nugget per meal. So if you're feeding just 1 or 2 meals of raw or wet food per day, it's possible this bowl may not work for you.For us, it's a winner and I'm thrilled to see our cat enjoying her meals.

Moon has been very weird with his food lately. Some of it was allergy related and I think we’ve got that under control, but he still scoops his food onto the floor (as does Rupert) and he’s been pacing the feeding station as if he’s contemplating the right angle to approach things. This is new behavior and it got me concerned. Now if you are anything like me, you have an entire china cabinet dedicated to a whimsical if not obsessive assortment of cat food dishes.I’ve got bowls of all shapes and sizes out the whazzoo. Think I’m exaggerating about the china cabinet, then talk to my husband. He’ll give you an earful about cat dishes. Still though, Moon is having issues, so I did some research and decided to try the Catsby bowl.I do not use plastic. I won’t eat from plastic for many reasons, and I won’t subject the cats to plastic, which just becomes disgusting over time. I prefer glass, ceramic, and stainless steel for their water and food dishes. The Catsby bowl is stainless; it’s shallow, and it has a nice rubber pad to sit on with a convenient thumb hole so you can lift it off the rubber pad. You don't want moisture collecting on the pad, so it's nice that you leave it in place and only wash the dish.I wasn’t sure at first because it is so shallow, and I expected food everywhere. Or that they would hate it, so I left the new bowl out along side their old bowls to see which they preferred. At the end of the test days, the new bowl was always empty and the other was not. There was no food on the floor either.I was skeptical about the whole whisker fatigue thing, but since Moon is easily overstimulated being as neurotic as he is, it might be true at least for him. At the end of the day though, they seem to like the bowls and if eating is more comfortable for them, especially with Rupert’s FIV teeth too, then so be it. They are expensive so I’ll only be buying two, but they are easy to clean and I can’t break them if I drop them, which happens often, which also means I probably won’t need replacements on hand.My only word of advice is that it says it can hold 1.5 cups of dry food. 1.5 cups of food is too much food for a cat and for the bowl. You’ll wind up with food on the floor because the bowl is very shallow, but I think it might be a win for me, and my husband will be happy to get rid of the cat china cabinet.
