Excellent quality shoes created with premium leather, good stitching, thick construction on the heel cup & all around. Good Velcro closure on both sides (one with a buckle ). They provide a good quality arch support inner sole and another foam flat sole, and a shoe horn for those who need it! You get what you pay for. If you’re looking for quality this is it. If you have high instep like my husband these are for you.if you have flat feet & need extra arch support they give you extra arch insoles. These will replace his beloved timberland fishermen sandals that were discontinued. I’ve been searching for a comparable replacement for a very long time. . My picky guy says these are way more comfortable. They’re comfortable & look great. He usually wears an 11.5 & his feet run med-wide. The 12 wide fit him perfectly in length but were too roomy in the front. So returning to get the regular 12. Hope this helps.

I'v been wearing Timberland Fisherman sandals for over 20 years. I would wear them starting in May through to when it was just too cold. They'd be worn out and I'd buy a new pair every year. Timberland in their bright corporate office minds decided to discontinue this great sandal. I tried a pair of Orthfeet Clearwater sandals and as comfortable as they are, they are way too hot to wear in the summer outside walking. The Dr. Comfort Fisherman sandals are pretty nice. I added a simple Dr Scholls charcoal air pillow insoles underneath to take up some of the room and this created a great fit. Leather out and lined is very nice. These sandal are more comfortable than the Timberlands. The padding helps with comfort, but does add a bit of warmth that is not welcome and they are warmer to wear than the Timberlands. But I guess there is give and take with these things. The only thing I would ask is to modernize the out leather to a nice light nubuck for an improved casual look. The sandals are bit stiff at first then broke in nicely after a couple of days. I just did a mile walk in 80 degree heat and they are fine on my feet.Size Comparison:Dr. Comfort 12 WideOrthofeet: 12 WideKeen: 13 M/WAllbirds 13MPropet 13W

Se sienten “duros”, no los recomendaria para diabeticos o personas mayores.

Good shoes, I'm happy. I bought them to replace a pair of Timberland Fisherman's Shoes which have been discontinued. Comfortable and seems well built with a few exceptions. Bought these to be all-purpose travel shoes, just OK for really active people, great for standing.Meant for standing, not walking. Bottom is slip resistant, but not set up with a hiking grip like other fishermans shoes (you know, for fishing/outdoors?). Gel insert is comfortable and supporting, but becomes exhausting when walking, like walking in sand; buy a hard insert if you want for walking.Heel is pillow like, rather than firm. Collapses in on itself if you try to put it on without fingers or a shoe horn holding it in place.Odd issue, not a flaw, just a design quirk. The slats are in an odd place for my toes, had to trim toenails to keep it from catching one toe.The good: Built well. Fits great for length/width. Comfortable with or without socks. Soft. Looks nice. Sturdy. Includes multiple insert types and a shoe horn.

This appears to be a very well made casual moc to wear about the house, which could be worn outside due to its excellent, thick sole. I ordered the right size and it fits well except there is too much depth from top to bottom of the foot dimension. It’s great that they add a pair of quality arch supports which you can insert on your own in the matching size ordered. They also include a pair of blue flat insoles, about 1/4 inch thick, made from dense rubber that allow you to add additional depth to the shoe. But even with both sets of insoles installed, I still found too much wiggle room. This excess depth can be taken up to a large degree by tightening the two Velcro instep straps, one of each side, but I’m worried once the leather breaks in over time, this shoe will become too loose which cannot be tightened fully. The alternative will be to insert a thicker pair of base insoles under the arch support insoles. But overall it’s a quality item but a tad overpriced IMHO.
