Wanted the regular gray leather, but could only find patent leather. Hoping these don't end up scuffed to heck. They're sort of a "dress doc" more than an everyday doc. I could wear these with a dress. Given the gray, can just swap laces to make the outfit. They seem a bit pre-broken-in, so hopefully won't get the creases in the shiny finish. Super cute, but still on the quest for plain, matte leather in gray.

These are gorgeous! However, upon first try on i felt that they were almost the wrong size, although i did order my correct size. theyre going to require a lot of breaking in. I either suggest sizing up, or purchasing a shoe stretcher to make it go by quicker.The left shoe also has a stitch inside that rubs against the top of your foot. I will have to double up on socks to break these in comfortably. Will update!UPDATE: shoe stretch spray really helped stretch the leather and they fit perfectly. The stitch inside the left shoe doesn’t bother me anymore.

If you need a shoe that lasts, is high quality, and is comfortable (after the break in) then get Docs.

You guys- let me start by saying I’m a 90’s kid and I LOVE Dr. Martens. These are very uncomfortable and the patent leather squeaks so loud, every step 😂 You could def hear me walking a mile away and when they were finally broken in, the leather cracked across the top of the toe.Other styles are amazing and the leather is soft but I’d steer clear of patent leather.
