My 9-1/2 lb silky terrier spins a lot when excited or waiting while on-leash. We got tired of unwinding the leash (because those clips don't spin freely). The only trick was finding small and strong enough rings to attach them with.

These are very typical representations of high quality ball bearing swivels. The look and work great.

One part of a swivel being able to run true is that the rings on the end need to be consistently round. The rings in these swivels are round, but where they are welded, they are THICKER and flattened, but not thick enough to stay in place within the holes. See picture. This is in stark contrast to the product description photo. I will need to use wire cutters, remove these solid rings and put split rings on to use these swivels on my underspins like I had intended. I personally think these swivels are very disappointing.
