Cómo cualquier practicador a precio elevado.

Disappointed with this. Made well and collapsable but the rivets that hold the top portion rattle when played at a normal level. After all, you're trying to be quiet with this aren't you?. This was better than the Gibralter which I also have which is a little louder and shakes all over the place.

I was a little skeptical after reading other reviews that the DW SS practice kick pad only fit if you have DW pedals. I bought it anyway since I have a set of DW7000's I use for practice. Turns out my Iron Cobras and Mapex Falcons both fit without any issues. It stays sturdily in place and is very rigid... and is one of the few pads with an adjustable height. It also folds up nicely for travel. The only thing I'd like to see different is a different pad since the white pad it comes with is still pretty loud. Would be better to include a separate pad (or just replace the existing) with a more porous and/or shock absorbing surface to help deaden some of the noise.I used some 1/4" adhesive back closed cell foam which quieted the "thwap" down to a "thump".

Very solid, easily collapsable, great feel, height adjustable. It's perfect.

At first this seemed like a genuinely good idea, but after significant practice I have found that this item does not meet expectations. The pad itself is made of good material, and can take a beating. However, the overall design just isn't good enough to absorb the shock that comes from a single or double bass drum pedal after minimal repetition (I seriously doubt Steve Smith actually uses this, because he would break it in 5 minutes).I find that I frequently have to re-tighten the wing in the back because the pad comes loose, mainly because it sits atop a single adjustable steel rod. The idea here is that you are able to adjust it to the height of your bass drum beater(s), but you trade adjustability for actual strength standing up against the force of said beater(s), which in itself makes it dysfunctional overall during practice. The clamp in the center is supposed to help with this, but its' positioning really just makes it extraneous. It mainly just stops the pad from dropping down when things loosen up, but doesn't stop the pad from turning in either direction. This last aspect is just something that bothers me personally:Because the design is so flimsy compared to other bass drum practice pads, whenever you play it you can hear a metallic clicking / rattling noise, which is likely the rod and other metal parts vibrating and releasing force that transfers through the beater. At first, I became concerned that something was very wrong with my pedals, but upon further review I found that the pad itself was just noisy. The people upstairs banged on the floor...lame.Anyhow, I plan to sell this (not on Amazon obviously) to whichever sucker like me thought it was a worthwhile investment.Serious drummers steer clear!

Was going on a business trip and really needed to get some practice in while i was away. Bought this prior to and actually had it shipped to my hotel. Was quick to set up and very quiet. Was able to practice and not disturb those in rooms around me. Love that it folds flat and able to fit in my laptop bag and didnt add too much weight. Highly recommend.
