This is a small scale that does the job I need. Most of my handmade cards need regular postage but occasionally a special card will need extra postage. Same goes for any mailings I have. I don't want to send anything to anyone and it be returned for extra postage or worse, have it delivered to the recipedient with a "postage due" note attached! Simple and quick to use.

Overall a great scale. Seems to be exactly accurate for shipping the boxes that I send. The only down side I see with this one is that it turns off after 5 minutes. I find it only a little bit annoying to have to turn it on again every time I pack a box. It's just a slight inconvenience and I still give it 5 stars overall.

I use this skill within Endicia for Mac. It connects via USB to my Macintosh laptop, and there is a scale weight button in my software that automatically takes the weight from the scale and places it in the software. I love it. Doesn't work well for things that are less than 1 pound though. Use a small-scale postage scale that measures in ounces for that purpose. This scale measures in pounds only.

This scale was purchased to replace an older scale. As others point out, this scale is not meant for small items. We use it to weight things that are at least 10-20 pounds. Our primary use is for weighing luggage prior to travel. The design of the scale allows us to put a bag with wheels on easily. For our purposes this is an excellent product.
