The idea is good but they don’t stay put and we are constantly required to move and straiten them. The fabric slides too easily. The black foam rods included in the purchase do not stay tucked in sofa sides and back and pop out often. It gets 3 stars because it does a nice job with water resistance and it’s easy to clean, but just could be so much better.

I bought this cover to protect a leather chair from two 14 lb cats. The cover mostly works, but doesn't always stay in place.I measured my chair before buying the cover, and the cover does fit. The seat is adequately protected, although the cover occasionally comes loose. The back of the chair is protected as well, but the straps strangely don't do anything. The arms are somewhat protected, but there's nothing keeping the side flaps of the cover in place, so they do flip over sometimes. The sides of the chair are only partially covered.The fabric seems tough enough to withstand some scratching.

Have a hard time vacuum out dog hair; doable, just not easy. 4 days later...my dogs chewed up the strap, dragged to be backyard, play tug of war, and shredded the cover... :(
