Eaton is well-known in the datacentres, hospitals and other large installations, but when you need the most reliable UPS for a home workstation, pay an extra for this baby. This is a prosumer UPS, for those who use their home computers for work. The unit runs weekly self-tests, unlike consumer-grade devices, so you know you're protected. I've been running them for years, changed batteries as specified and never complained. Perhaps the most reliable on-line power you may get for a reasonable price. You may (or may not) find the absence of USB charging ports on the unit as a negative, but this is, again, a prosumer unit with a single function: protect your equipment. You don't want to lose main power while your three iPhones are charging, and that's the thinking behind this class of devices. You may always connect a power strip with USB ports to its surge-protected (NOT battery-backed!) side to get as many USB charging ports as you need.

The acceptable input frequency range is 57-70hz, which means when your powerwall bumps from 60hz to ~65 hz to shut your solar inverters off, this UPS won't panic, and go to battery backup mode.

So far this is working as intended and is awesome. Pretty easy to set up except the companion app has thrown errors a few times and I've had to reinstall, not that you really need it. This pack also gives off a faint consistent humming sound which a previous cheaper APC backup did not.

I bought this to protect my Alienware from power shortage. Protecting my PC from sudden power surge or giving me a chance to shutdown during long ones. I would gladly recommend it. BONUS: You can see how much electricity you consume every month for what ever is plugged in it.

I bought this because it tolerates a wider input frequency range to accommodate Tesla Powerwall output frequencies >= 63Hz (as they can reach that when the batteries are full). Unfortunately, while it does that, this unit does not work with Anker Power Station 767 and I am sure with any similar large lithium ion generator that doesn't bond ground to neutral. It declares there is a site wiring failure and runs on battery, not on input power. The MinuteMan family of UPS are the only ones I've found that work with both Powerwall and Anker 767. They are also crude like this Eaton unit, and one of them blew up in a recent outage. I am considering going back to the much nicer CyberPower UPS now that I've made Tesla put a frequency limit on their inverters.
