Not well made- switches don’t have a positive “snap” into position (either on or off). Easy to leave in a “middle position “. …neither on or off. I elected to rerun it.

I've used these in older houses and new ones. They've worked great every time. The biggest issue is the buttons do get a little mushy over time, but they are the cleanest looking timers that fit a more modern silhouette. Leviton and Lutron plates alike, even the knock offs of the same shape. I like how this model comes in hours instead of minutes, perfect for those bigger rooms that need the fan running much longer than 60 minutes. A high traffic shower for example.

This switch is perfect in every way. It is very well made and the long time intervals work perfect to control our towel warmer, as we generally want a fairly long run time in order to allow enough time for towels to heat up and then to dry thoroughly after use.The design is great and the cool thing is that you don't need a neutral wire. Our hours does have the neutral wires, but it's just nice that they don't require it, as many homes don't have one in switch applications.Very happy with this purchase.

This is a great countdown timer switch. I have this what the manufacturer calls "Hour Timer" for my garden deck light and the "Minute Timer" for my bathroom fan. I also have two of the cheaper Woods timer in the house. If the $10 difference is no big deal for you, go for this one - it is much better to operate and looks better. It is a single-pole switch, meaning it will not work in a setup with two switches (like in a hallway). To my knowledge there is only one timer product on the market that is 3-Way (2 or more switches for one light), which is the Lutron MA-T51MN-WH.For installation, you will not need a neutral (white cable) and I think the product even works without ground (green or blank) cable but I would not install it this way (security issue). It comes with all the screws you need for installation but of course not with a face plate (cover). You can turn this into a different timer switch after the fact. Just press the power button and the 1 Hr button at the same time for a few seconds until they both start to blink, then you press one of the following once:1 Hr button = 1, 2, 4, 8, 12 hours2 Hr button = 1, 3, 6, 9, 12 hours4 Hr button = 2, 4, 8, 12, 24 hours8 Hr button = 30m, 1, 2, 4, 8 hours12 Hr button = 15m, 30m, 1, 2, 4 hours. So in other words, you can change the shutoff times later. Of course, you would have to put stickers over the old buttons or just deal with it reading the wrong values.Besides that you can put into indefinite "on" mode by pressing the power button for 2 seconds, and of course you can shut it off any time with the power button.Yep, all in all a neat countdown timer switch that I enjoy having in the house.
