These grips are a game-changer for my Quest 3. They're comfy, easy to adjust, and I no longer worry about flinging a controller across the room. The hand straps give me extra security, and the grips themselves feel like a natural extension of the controllers. would reccomend.

These are the straps that the controls should have come with out of the box. These are a world of difference to the crappy straps that come with them. They're so much better, they stay on your hands and they're super comfortable. The straps are very easy to install the silver anchors even have a small arrow on them to indicate which way they slide into the slot. The velcro is also really nice and holds secure. These also give the controllers a really nice look as of they belong there. It's not often I wish I could give a 6th star to but these are just so that well designed and the attention to detail and the forethought of the design is better than most things out there. I would definitely recommend these to anyone with a Quest. No more hassele of messing with the stupid wrist strings, your hands just slide in for the perfect fit.

These match the quest 3 aesthetic very well. The plastic part of the controller covers perfectly matches the material and finish of the controllers, and the strap material feels very similar to the stock headstrap. The metal part that attaches the strap to the controller feels durable and should last. It holds in place very well and is much more secure than the stock loops. My only gripe with this product is that it replaces the stock loops and cannot be used in combination with them, so you cannot let the controllers hang freely and you don't have a second layer of security. While I do not own the Meta 1st party changing stand, I would assume this works with that too because the plastic is very thin and the straps closely resemble the 1st party options on the meta website, so there shouldn't be any issues there.

I really prefer grips over straps and many of the grips are silicone covers that wrap around the controller and block access to the battery compartment. These replace the battery compartment cover, they snap in place with a clear audible click (just like the OEM covers do) and they have an excellent range of adjustability so they should work well for anyone with small to XL hands. My hands are XL and these fit fine (unlike some of the competitors). The second picture above is a picture of both the Meta version (in black) and these. They are nearly identical except for color (white matches the controllers better), the connection point (these are metal instead of plastic) and the length. The Meta ones look longer, but the connection point on these is slightly bigger (in diameter) so it raises the strap slightly above the bottom of the strap and provides a slightly better fit on my XL hands. The only downside I saw of these to the OEM ones (that cost over 2.5x) is that the metal connectors will sometimes slip out when I'm replacing my batteries. This isn't a big issue, but it does not happen with the plastic connectors sold on OEM equipment (perhaps because plastic is lighter than metal). If I could change one thing on all controller grips, I would have them add one or two centimeters of additional length to their strap. Sometimes it's nice to have a really loose strap around the back of the hand when playing certain games and no one makes a strap that provides that for XL to XXL hands. It would be an easy fix, and would not negatively effect smaller hands so hopefully the designers are listening.

Shortly after Jimi Hendrix's untimely death, his recordings archive fell into the hands of one Alan Douglas, who subsequently cobbled together several very shoddy releases that were met with a great deal of derision from his peers, the music press and the Jimi Hendrix records buying public.Fast forward to April 1997 and the fruits of the first releases now under the direct supervision of the Hendrix family estate, trading as Experience Hendrix. Eddie Kramer has been chief audio restoration soundman / audio producer on every single one of over 30 different titles EH have released since, as well as all 15 titles as released on the EH official bootleg label, Dagger Records.Kramer's Hendrix portfolio dates back to the year before opening Electric Ladyland Studios with Jimi as house chief engineer. His integrity is infinite, despite also having to do the best he could with the deplorable PPX recordings that were virtually junked by a previous so-called "producer".This is a fantastic quality recording and had originally been made by the legendary Wally Heider and Bill Halverson, two guys who really knew how to do it well.Originally released in truncated form during the tenure of Alan Douglas in 1990 in a new 1990 remix and contained within an expensive for the time (£45 - Ouch!) box set import from the US, titled "Lifelines" on the Reprise label. For unknown reasons Lifelines missed off "Foxey Lady", although that had previously been included in 1982's double LP set "Jimi Hendrix Concerts" on the CBS label. The number "I Don't Live Today" had also previously been included on both "The Jimi Hendrix Experience" 4CD purple box-set of 2000 and on the 2001 release "Voodoo Child: The Jimi Hendrix Collection" 2CD compilation. "Star Spangled Banner" and "Purple Haze" were both included on 2010's "West Coast Seattle Boy" 4CD/DVD box set using Kramer's original 15th June 1969 mixes.Needless to say there's also been other releases in one form or another of this concert. The Digital Deja label placed 5 tracks on the 1992 release titled "The Jimi Hendrix Gold Collection". The many bootlegs had all used the original mix - almost mono - as created in 1969 by Kramer, when the recording was initially being considered for release as a live album, such as both the Rock Of Ages and Radioactive labels releases. So, this has been remixed using the latest technology - a world away from that of 1969 - by Kramer and mastered by Bernie Grundman - a leader in his field. It's as good as it's going to get and Kramer has seemingly set the listener in the middle, up-front, surrounded by the crowd and the atmosphere is all around with the feel of the audience. It's very cleverly done. The band performance here is fast, tight and full of vibrant energy and it's obvious Hendrix is enjoying himself. His playing is absolutely something else. It's jaw dropping. The US gigs of April-June 1969, were the last concerts featuring the original Experience trio as Noel Redding wasn't altogether happy about Jimi jamming with Billy Cox, who had arrived on 21st April and immediately taken part in recording sessions at the Record Plant over the next few days. Noel subsequently formed Fat Mattress and split in June.Incidentally, that book (as mentioned by a n other) by the EH people that coincides with the release of this CD just might have something to do with the fact that on 27th November 2022, Jimi Hendrix would have been 80 years old.
