Fitting is exactly the same as the original. Is it really worth it for this price or may be just buy a brand new one with warranty? That is the point you need to decide on. For me mine is still good so I save a little just to replace the top. Overall it is ok.

I may have had a little too much fun waving my hand to magically open this lid. Soft-close even without batteries with a high quality finish. I won't be using this for trash. I'm hoping this will make dishing up my dog's food easier when I'm basically still asleep in the morning and can't figure out how to open the bag when I have a scoop in one hand and a bowl in the other...stumped. Problem solved.The total outside dimensions in the listing are accurate. The crevice in which the trash lip will sit 1/2".

I have been using a motion sensor trash can for years now and they always had the same size lid. Therefore, I figured it they were universal sized but I was wrong so make sure you measure first. Unfortunately, I also waited to long so stuck with it, but will try to find a trash can to go with it. It does work as advertised so all good there. It feels like it is made well and it looks good too. If only it fit the can that I have, lol

This looks fantastic compared to the stock lid that is plastic. It really takes the looks of the bin up another level.What was a pleasant surprise was that this lid opens and closes a little faster than the stock lid too. I always felt the stock lid was a little slow here which mean I needed to wait a little for it to open but I find this lid much more responsive and this has made me happier with the bin.Worth the purchase if you want your bin to look classier and operate a little faster!

Functions identically to the non-Deluxe Mirage-T lid, but also has a compartment for deodorizer sheets. Had an Eko automatic trash can prior to the Mirage-T models, and the lid failed multiple times, eventually recalled. Hopefully this is better and lasts longer. This one runs smoothly, and is pretty quiet. If you have a Deluxe Mirage-T can and maybe want to save some money, and don't care about the specific look of the lid that much, the non-Deluxe lid works on the Deluxe can. And if you have the non-Deluxe can and want an arguably sleeker-looking lid with a deodorant compartment, you can get and use this lid with that.
