im so dissapointed, i waiting for another 3 daysn to arrived and i got a pedal that does do the Unwanted POP Sound when pressing the Pedal SW... :( i will surely be returning this back to supplier... and never of Electro Harmonix again.... too bad...

Cuts my signal by about half unless both knobs are at 100%, even then is significantly quieter than my dry signal. Also doesn’t seem to add any compression at all. Presumably faulty, but it sat in the delivery box for a while before I had the time to open it and give it a go, so all I can do now is leave this honest review. Learned my lesson, thorough waste of money on an EHX paperweight.

Hace una diferencia importante al tocar con la banda, los picos de graves que hacían una vibración indeseable se eliminan. Definitivamente no vuelvo a tocar sin este compresor en vivo.

I'm a bit of a sucker for Ehx pedals at this point. All of the gear I've bought from them has been top quality and this is no exception. In my opinion, this is the best compressor money can buy because it really gives your bass a more distinct sound unlike the cheaper compressors and gives you a punchier sounding tone.

This is a very simple, straight forward compressor for bass guitar.After my Boss LMB3 quit working less than a year after I bought it, I was in the market for another bass compressor. I wasn't very satisfied with the Boss and was looking for something new. I own 3 other EHX pedals and have been very satisfied with their quality and durability.I play 4 and 5 string, active and passive basses and this pedal works well with all of them. I prefer a rawer tone and use a compressor just to mildly even out my playing and this fits the bill nicely. The sustain knob adjusts the amount of compression and the volume knob helps compensate for any volume drop. A three position toggle switch allows you to adjust the speed at which the compression takes place. While a knob to adjust the speed would have been a nice feature, they're probably saving that for the Bass Preacher Deluxe, but the presets in the toggle work well. The pedal is also true bypass, but seriously, why would you ever turn it off?
