I've tried about 8 different brands of dog training pads at Amazon, and these Member's Mark pads are the best pad I've ever tried. No more pee under the pad with these. I just joined Sam's Club so I can get these same pads for $17.88 a box. You've got the $45 membership fee at Sam's Club, but my dog uses about 1 box a month, so after 3 months the I recoup the membership fee and save about half.

I have never used puppy pads when potty training previous dogs, but I just adopted 2 basset hound pups that are 3 months old and I bought these to put in their crate at night and help clean up messes. I paid 0.19 cents each and found them affordable and large and they do the job, but I know people use them in different ways so you may have a different experience depending on how you use them.

These pads are a hit & miss. This last box are great and very absorbent. The two boxes before that not so much ? Maybe they use different manufactures who just brand the product Member's Mark. You can see a big difference in the pads between the previous box and this one.

I have 4 Pomeranians from 5lb to 15lb (one is a senior and is deaf and blind) ALL use pads so I go through ALOT and have tried them all. These are the THICKEST and most ABSORBENT pads (at this price point) on the market. ALSO unless you use a TARP you are going to have some "misses" and "drips". Especially when used for "bigger" (20lb or more) and older dogs (they pee much more volume) Also, pads are ment to be changed after EACH USE.

If you have a cat or multiple (we have 2) and would like an alt to conventional clumping litter, look into a sifting litter system.The basics.Get a sifting box. (2 pieces. I bottom tray,1 overlapping sifting tray).Line bottom tray with larger size puppy pad.Place sifter try over pad.Fill sifter tray with pine pellets (equine bedding).When cats urinate in pellets, the pellets dissolve in to saw dust and can be sifted to bottom tray/puppy pad.Scoop out turds.After a couple days, lay fresh pad on floor, lift sifter and give a little shake, place on top of fresh pad. Then gather urine/sawdust soaked pad by corners, and place in garbage bag for disposal.Replace two or three cups of pellets to litter sifter.The equine bedding is about $7 for 50 lbs. and lasts us 3 months with two cats.The pads are about $23 for 150?Which will last the better part of the year.These pads are durable and absorbent. Control odor and are perfect for this system.
