There are two parts to this review. First the actual “working” product – the good. Secondly the initial defective product, product support and return process – the bad.I use this product for extended swims exclusively. I ordered it because of the standalone technology, needing only the headset for music playing MP3’s during otherwise monotonous swims. Other than having to have it on maximum volume to hear it in comfortable range, I find the product exactly what it was advertised to do, and the previous reviewers did a nice job representing it. Used it less than a week so far, but very satisfied. Only other comment, is that the user manual “operation” misrepresented the icons on the buttons, but since there are only 3 buttons, the + the - and a “middle” button, left little doubt.HOWEVER, the first product I received was defective, in that it would NOT play MP3’s (e.g. only played music paired with a Bluetooth device) – (begs the question was there QA done on the product before shipment?). After 2 days of back and forth with the help desk via email supplied (the toll free phone was never answered), they determined the product was defective and asked me to ship it back. I had to ship it back at my expense, a defective product! Not happy at all with that arrangement, as it added about $20 to the overall cost of the item. Because I received a defective product, and had to ship it back they waited until actual receipt before shipping a replacement. The tracking number was insufficient (understand there are thieves out there). So I received the replacement item 3 weeks after I had initially ordered it.So giving the rating of 3*, 4* for the product itself (would be 5 but the first one did not work at all in the MP3 Mode). 1* for support and customer service.

Fabulous device and WONDERFUL customer service. Small family-owned business. I’ve been buying from them for 7 years or so. This will revolutionize your swimming. Sound is very good quality. No messy cords or clips to attach. Just pop it on and go. Fabulous!

I’ve never tried swimming with headphones before these. Now I use these for everything because I never have to take them off. I love the design and the material adheres well to my head.My only gripe is that the interactions to use the device were hard to understand. Especially for switching between MP3 and Bluetooth. I had to get out of the pool a few times when getting started with these to refence the instructions on my phone. The battery is good. I set a charging station up for them at home and they last about 6-8 hours or so of use.Listening to music through these underwater takes some getting used to. It sounds like what it sounds like it would sounds like.Plan keep using these for a long time. Love the style and fit, and just being able to listen to music while swimming makes it so much less boring. I just uploaded my three favorite albums since all you can play while swimming is MP3.

Fits my 5 and 11 year old fine, waterproof testing on the pool was neat but not loud enough around other screaming kids. We just turn on music outside and it does the trick. But these get used by my 5 year old to be like his big sister and hers.
