When you pay good money for something even if it was a cheap item. At the very least have it so it’s fallible! So the dang refill pin accepts the fuel without spraying back. The Product is being returned and I will try another one. Anyone else going through a half a can of fuel to fill a lighter from Mayor retailers from Amazon? There is too Many defects on lighters not up to American Standards there selling on here.

My husband loves this cigar lighter and it’s added features. His old one was worn out, so this one arrived right on time. He told me that he prefers the cigar punch to the cutter, the first of which is a feature of this torch. The only “negative” he mentioned very lightly was that it is a single rather than double flame torch. At that, I quickly suggested that he give it to me, then. I don’t smoke cigars or anything else, but I would eventually like to get back to making fine jewelry….and he was the one who burned through my old jeweler’s torch in lighting his cigars! This FANKAI torch reaches heat above 2000 F, and has a feature that locks the flame into the “on” position. But at my suggestion, he quickly and jealously guarded his new possession and said he most definitely wanted to keep it.

I am using this as decor in my coffee nook, as I will not be using it for its intended function. I don’t smoke cigars though once the holidays are in full swing, I can see sitting on the patio with friends, most with cocktails, some with cigars, and me with my bottled ginger ale.I am not physically able to get butane into this, but I always have it on hand so anyone wanting to use it can fill it, then empty it later.I see review complaints about the faux wood veneer. Seriously? It’s a frigging inexpensive lighter for cigars. Anyway, don’t expect what obviously is not wood that you see on the product page to magically become wood between the time you order it and the time you receive it. It looks like it’s meant to, which is very good.It’s a very attractive lighter that I’m happy to have. 5 stars

This is a solidly made torch. The torch is made up of mostly brass and you can feel the slight heft to it. The wood tones are plastic, and I think they accent the torch well. The torch has slide switch lock and off. In the lock setting the torch will stay on without you needing to hold the trigger. Off is just that off, you must hold the trigger and when you release the trigger the torch will extinguish. Since the torch is made of brass the flame housing does not get very hot, just a slight bit warm which is nice as you can put it away immediately after use. Very nice torch, highly recommend!
