First off, I want to say I'm extremely happy with the unit itself. It works as advertised. I upgraded to this one having a smaller unit - and what drew me in was the ability to fill the 9.2 gallon tank via a hose connection vs. slowly filling from the top which is the only way I could fill the other one I had. There are 3 fan levels, a cold on/off, a natural wind feature which varies the speed of the fans to mimic a real-world breezes.The only drawback is the included ice-packs. They leaked and are not well made. Granted the manufacturer did send me new ones at no charge, but they barely lasted a week before leaking as well (when I say leaking I open my freezer and see the frozen liquid that is meant to be inside it, crystalized on top as it's broken through a seam). The ice-packs are needed if as they chill the water especially if you have the Cold option selected, but the machine would work perfectly without them albeit the water would just be at the normal temperature.Also, the included remote control doesn't have a very good range -- its probably perfect if you're near the machine but I have this on my back patio and from inside the house through a big pane window, the unit doesn't respond.If I could give this a 4.5/5 star rating I would. I feel bad putting 4 stars because of just the ice-pack issue (I found better quality ones on Amazon), but it didn't feel right leaving 5 stars either. Overall I'm happy with my purchase now that I have ice-packs that won't leak.

Lo compré para una región con clima caluroso seco y funciona perfectamente. Cumple con su función de reducir la temperatura de una habitación aunque obviamente no como lo haría un minisplit. Es importante mencionar que la habitación no debe estar totalmente cerrada, por lo que recomiendo poner el aparato junto una puerta o ventana abierta, de lo contrario se sentirá mucha humedad.

Exelsio, bello y unico, si lo que quieres es No sufrir por calor, este cooler lo recomiendo a un 200% solo cuidado con el agua; no le dejen mucho tiempo el agua, hay que estarla cambiando todos los dias, se apesta con facilidad, pero es perfecto hace milagros, y es 10 veces mejor invertir en esto que en un ventilador normal

I recently received the portable swamp cooler and tested it for the first night. My rooftop swamp cooler is insufficient to cool the bedrooms, so I purchased this portable unit and positioned it to face both bedrooms. It made a significant difference in cooling both rooms, even without using the included ice packs. I am pleased with its performance and have been sleeping better at night, especially during the recent heatwave with temperatures reaching 115 degrees Fahrenheit.It's not heavy love the wheels pre-installed. Not to big so easy to move. The fan is not to loud and is quieter than my whole house swamp cooler.Overall Great buy!

Really happy with this. Have a giant back yard tent and it gets HOT in there. Bay Area California has low humidity so it works perfect here. 95 degrees out and I can keep the 120sq ft tent at ~76 easily (output at unit is 67-68 degrees). 90 or below and the tent stays 72-73 degrees. Build quality of this evap cooler is really nice. Well thought out design. Controls work great, the swing function is nice to cover a large area with cold air. I also appreciate how quiet the unit is even at high speed. The automatic fill with garden hose is great to keep it going all day, week, month long.From opening the unit up, it is nice to see that it should be servicable in future in case you need to replace the evap pads, pump, etc. I also want to point out I had a little issue when mine arrived and support immediately helped me out and got me the part needed to fix. Great to know they have good customer service!Couple tips for those new to evap coolers:If you live in high humidity, this may not work well for you. But if low humidy, you'll be loving the cool refreshing air.I tend to find that evap coolers work better right in front of a window sucking in hot dry air. Make sure you have something open on the other side to allow ventilation.Ice isn't needed. I never notice any difference with ice. Once it runs for a while, the water becomes super cold anyways. You may need to run for ~30 min for it to get maximum cooling.I also recommend using a calcium filter on a hose to prevent build up.You will be very happy with this unit.

Si es algo grande sin embargo valió la pena cada peso que costo, lo tengo en una sala comedor en donde si climatiza y mantiene su temperatura, sin embargo si es un poco ruidoso, nos ha salvado de los calores horribles.

Este Aircooler es del tamaño de una maleta MUY grande de viaje. es gigante!Gasta muchísima agua y, al ser evaporativo, llena de humedad toda la casa al punto de volverla como un cuarto de vapor frío.Como también se puede usar en exterior, puede ser que funcione genial para una reunión en el jardín, pero para espacios cerrados es pésima idea!! (a menos que vivas en zonas áridas)

Tengo un año con el y funciona bien, tomando en cuenta que no es un aire acondicionado. Colocándolo cerca de una ventana si ayuda a refrescar una habitación. Lo recomiendo si en tu ciudad las temperaturas no pasan de 40 grados celsius.

Según la descripción, te enfría un cuarto completo. Eso no es verdad, si enfría pero solo a una persona, es literalmente un ventilador que enfría pero solo a una persona, si crees que esté producto enfría un pequeño cuarto, no, no lo hace. También produce demasiada humedad, una ventana o una puerta abierta no es suficiente, prácticamente debe de estar afuera. Al menos que la ventana y puerta que tengas sea muy grande.

Es mejor de lo que esperaba. Muchos dicen que hace mucho ruido, a lo que entiendo ya que es un aire lavado, no un mini split, obviamente hace mas ruido. Sin embargo es un ruido muy bajo a comparacion del anterior que tenia.

I was looking for a way to cool the rooms in my appartment that don't have windows and can't have a real AC unit. Now I wasn't expecting a miracle with an evaporative cooler, it doesn't feel like it's making the room temperature much lower. The best way to describe it is it feels like it's blowing out cold wind when you're near the sea. It definitely is refreshing and cold. It's better to see it as a cold blowing fan than an AC that will cool down the room.I've let it run for about 2 hours in a room with the door opened. When I entered the room again, I instantly felt the high level of humidity. It will definitely raise the humidity in your house. It is also a bit noisier than I expected even on the lowest fan setting.Overall, I can't judge it compared to an AC because it is not what this is. So for an evaporative cooler, it is definitely efficient. The wind power is strong, the design is nice even though it is a bit big, the air feels cold instantly. I will never use it outside but I feel like it would be its best use. Overall pretty nice product!

I was skeptical at first, but this product cools my condo living area nicely. Easy to use, large water reservoir, fairly quiet, corner-positioned near an open window. I use "fan only" if humidity reaches as high as 65, and the fan itself is powerful. Before turning off, I again run fan only for 15 minutes which dries the cooling pads. Very happy!
