I find it hard to believe the lack of choices at drugstores, so I found this. This is the only floss I can use for my bottom retainer to remove plaque preventing calculus buildup. The tip is stiff enough to pass through and the loop helps clean the hard to reach places.

So, I purchased these because I find the name brand versions of these to be insanely expensive for what they are. I had a sample pack of the name brand from the dentist to test them side by side, and these that I bought are significantly thicker. And the thickness is uncomfortable at first but you do eventually get used to them. But the first time I used one I was pretty annoyed at how much more difficult they were to get in between teeth.Aside from the initial discomfort, they do work and come in a pretty handle package that makes them easy to travel with and knowing when you are about to run out of them. And the lower price means I'll pick up more of these when I run out over the name brand.

I got these for threading floss under the permanently glued retainer after getting braces removed. They do a perfect job and maintain structure pretty well so they can be used multiple times before being replaced. Great value pack and worth the price.
