I am very happy with this case!This is true Aluminum sided and is very nicely made!I like the height that the handle reaches also, I am 6'2" (6'3" w/ shoes) and the bottom of the hand grab is 40" fully extended, so no issues for me there!Wheels are fantastic, not the cheapo's that will last 1x trip, they are smooth rolling and maneuver in all directions effortlessly.Interior is well organized and the 2x flaps are great for organizing and keeping things in place as well.I was surprised that the 2x handles were spring loaded, they easily move as you grab them to carry, but have a soft-close feature so the fold back against the case when you let go of them... GREAT feature!Another review mentions that the non-zippered 2x latch closing was a concernWith the combo dials locked the latches are slightly recessed- they do stick out, but I am NOT concerned about them popping open, I tested the push to release button and also a pry on the latches themselves and I am not worried, these are stout and strong!Another comment was made about forgetting the combo, well I can only say that if you travel you should have an information back-up at home for SO many things, from Passport info / Credit & bank accounts etc... so back up your combo is all I can say and there won't be an issue.In regard to issues I have had on other combo style locks: If the mechanism to 'RESET' the combo is easily snagged / pushed / maneuvered in any way I can see the erroneous combo change as a concern. I have had many Key Lockboxes in Real Estate changed when a key inside activates the re-set code lever and then someone re-locking is actually CHANGING the code, on this case (See Pics) the reset lever/tab is small, recessed and it not easily moved. So while possible I find it very doubtful to happen.AND... if that ever happened this is a TSA 007 lock, you can buy keys for them here on Amazon and have a key backup to get in no matter what.PS: Did you know that those keys are available? It's concerning if someone stole your bag, they could just unlock it and get to anything they wanted.... That said ALL TSA locks on ALL luggage are that way now so just dont put anything valuable that you cant risk losing in a bag ever!But again.... this is a CARRY ON... so that shouldn't apply as you'll always be in possession of this...Long review my apologies, but this is a really GREAT bag that I Love!If your looking make sure you know the size, but if this is what your looking for you will love this!!

This suitcase is so cool looking and super functional. My favorite feature are the self folding handles - so cool! But, I also love the flip open locks (vs. a zipper). I recently took it on a road trip and it performed like a champ. The wheels glide silently and the suitcase rolls along easily. It had plenty of space for a weekend away (if you're an efficient packer, this size might work for longer trips) .The interior is well designed with a zippered compartment on the left and a removable hook and loop flap on the right - both of which keeps everything secure in transit. I used the zippered compartment for shoes, cosmetics, etc. The two on-panel zippered compartments worked well for smaller items. I used the plastic coated compartment for small dirty clothing. I packed my clothes beneath the panel on the right hand side and secured it with the hook and loop flaps. This panel also has two zippered pouches for smaller items. The only issue I encountered was that it’s not really possible to over stuff the suitcase due to its rigidity.Overall, the suitcase seems very well-made and even comes with a plastic sheath for travel - although, it doesn’t look particularly durable - it’s a nice touch. The suitcase weight is about 10 pounds - a little heavier than other similar sized suitcases, but I didn’t find it cumbersome or "too heavy". I’m really happy with this suitcase and highly recommend it.

This item looks heavy duty (which means heavy). Travel bags are great when they're heavy... up until the moment that you have to actually use them for travel. Then you want them to be as light as possible because you're having to carry them, lift them, raise them overhead. I was a little hesitant to order this because it looked like it was going to be exceedingly heavy for a lightweight travel bag. I was pleasantly surprised to see how stripped down and light it was. I know the listing of the product says "all aluminum" but it feels like a very thin aluminum veneer shell over plastic, giving it strength without the weight. I don't know that it will last forever, but it's definitely going with my on my next 2-3 day trip. At 9 pounds, it's definitely the right size and weight. I really appreciated an undersold feature, which is visible in the photos but not discussed in the listing: the dual TSA latches are recessed into the side of the unit, keeping the suitcase from snagging on them. The handles aren't recessed, which would have been top notch, but the whole unit is streamlined and holds a lot, fitting in the exact carryon dimension.

I ordered the silver and it looks really sharp. It's a very high quality suitcase, very strong and sturdy and lots of zipped compartments. It folds open like a book and falls flat against the floor putting no stress on the hinges when you pack. The one side has a zipped enclosure and on top of it three zipped small compartments with mesh to air things out. One of them is plastic backed for wet stuff. The other side has a nice firm flat piece that holds down your clothes and the outside also has two zipped mesh pouches. Inside the bag is a nice plastic rain cover that will keep the splash off the bag. It looks really sharp. The pull handle has 5 different levels of telescoping handle. There is also a carry handle on the side and the top. There are built in TSA locks that have a push button opening so you don't have to fuss with little zipper handles trying to get them to fit right. I measured it at 14 inches by 19 inches by 8.5 inches without wheels or handles. It is incredibly strong and sturdy. A great carryon!
