I use two laptops for work, sometimes at the same time, and often work from home. It's been a huge pain to switch my keyboard, mouse, webcam, speakers, hard drive, etc. between the two, but this has fully solved my problem! I just press one button and everything swaps over smoothly in like two seconds.I tested it with two Macs, two PCs, and one of each and it worked for all combinations. It's annoying that Macs only support one screen, but that seems like an issue with Apple, not the product. It works with the laptops open or closed (one at time or two together) and with either one or two monitors. The automatic wake up and dual ethernet features both work great, and the transfer speeds seem good enough for anything I'm doing. It's nice that it comes with all the USB-C cables you need too.Second product I've purchased from AV Access, would recommend!

I've been searching for a KVM switch that works well with laptops, which has been surprisingly difficult—most are designed with desktops in mind and require dual HDMI ports that many laptops don't have. Then I came across this device, and it’s exactly what I needed. It’s built specifically for laptops, which is a huge plus. Setup is minimal—just connect a single USB-C cable to your laptop and you're good to go. The rest of the cables stay connected to the KVM switch, keeping things clean and clutter-free. The unit itself is compact and unobtrusive.The only downside is the included USB-C cables—they’re not the best quality. I recommend upgrading to cables that support 20Gbps high-speed data transfer and 100W charging for optimal performance.Overall, this is a solid unit that delivers. You won’t be disappointed.

I’m going to be as honest as I can with this review without sounding like a complete dummy. I can’t promise that I won’t be to some of these computer people, but I’ll give it my best shot.I hate unnecessary mess with wires and such that your desk becomes an obstacle course of trying to navigate wires without disconnecting them. I was looking for something that could hold everything I needed it to connect and have my wires in one place. I finally found something! This! It’s absolutely amazing what all this thing will connect with and still run smoothly. I’m in awe!I use it for 2 laptops, and 1 monitor. I have 1 printer connected, but that’s only because it’s old and not compatible with Bluetooth. I have a mouse and keyboard. I can even connect headphones and cables for some of my other machines that I use. I’m so excited to have this and having it has helped me reclaim my desk lost to disorganized wires. I can hide it all and actually have room to work more efficiently.I can’t go into the technical abilities of this unit, but what I can tell you is I have almost every port connected and this thing hasn’t had one issue supporting it all. I don’t understand the remote that comes with it, but I’m sure I’ll figure it out.This thing is awesome! If you’re like me and not tech savvy, but looking for a way to connect more at one time, try this unit. It hasn’t failed me yet.

I used to use a Windows PC every day. Then I discovered the Mac and fell in love, and now I use a Mac every day. Only sometimes you still need a Windows PC. I used to set these both up as separate workstations, but it was SO inconvenient. That’s why, when I saw this KVM switch for two 4k monitors and laptops, I had to try it.The switch comes nicely packaged in a small box, with the AC power block, a couple USB-C cords, and a remote switch that was a nice surprise. It can sit on the floor or be strung near your keyboard so you can switch from one computer to another with a tap!What really sets this switch apart for me is the abundance of inputs. The HDMI inputs are 4K (thank you!) and the ethernet is 1G. There are also multiple USB 3.0 ports, a headphone jack, charging ports, and an SD card reader. In an ideal world, I’d have even MORE USB ports, but then again, it’s easy enough to daisy-chain more USB hubs to this one (that’s what I did, on the cheap).All in all, this thing is kind of amazing and a HUGE space saver. How did I live without this?Highly recommended!
