I recently started hot yoga classes and realized how much I actually sweat during those. To avoid creating a slippery pool during the class I decided to get a yoga towel.I obvious concern was that the towel would move around and bunch during session, however that wasn't the case at all once I set it up on top of the mat it's stayed exactly where I put it and actually gave me more hold on the ground that if I was just using the map alone. Additionally, because the mat is higher quality than some of the towels you'll see out there a little bit of thickness adds a tiny bit more padding which is great for my feet and knees. It's fairly lightweight but it does add a little bit of bulk to my yoga mat when I roll them up together. One of the things I like about this particular color is that unlike some gray fabrics it doesn't show the damp areas as dramatically and it quickly absorbs and distributes moisture. From the perspective of making sure you get what you thought you purchased the color is exactly as shown on the product page.Overall, this is a great solution for any type of floor-based workout where you need to quickly catch and absorb sweat as you produce it. Because it does the job so well it takes the place of multiple other towels and could even take the place of a mat if you're already on carpet, so it's a great value for what you pay.

Overall, this yoga mat cover performs well for most types of practice. It stays in place nicely and doesn’t shift or bunch up during regular sessions, which makes it a reliable choice for everyday use. However, during more intense hot yoga sessions, it doesn’t quite hold up — some sweat does manage to seep through, which can affect grip and comfort. If your practice involves heavy sweating, you might want to consider a more absorbent or specialized option. Still, for light to moderate use, it’s a solid pick.

This towel is a pretty standard thick weave (as opposed to the rag type cloths) microfiber towel, just a bit bigger than most. It would work well as a mat, but I just use it for a gym towel since the microfiber dries easier so I don't have to worry about it getting gross. I just put it on a hanger in the back of my truck and it is always dry within a few hours (admittedly I live in a dry climate, so that helps). Previously using a normal cotton towel in the same method wasn't always dry. It doesn't absorb water quite as well as a normal towel, so the extra size is nice.

These towels do a great job at absorbing any sweat from your practice. It's quite durable and fits slightly larger than my traditionally sized yoga mat. While the microfiber is great for sweat absorption, I've found it to be slightly slippery during a few poses, hence the 4 stars. Overall, great value and great design.
