This is supposed to be “brand new” as defined by the listing. If you look at the pics…it’s not even close to brand new…in fact, my son couldn’t even use it! Terribly disappointed!

This is the second EvoShield batting helmet I've purchased. Both of them have had the same issue with the interior padding falling out.I'm not positive, but I believe the adhesive used to attach the padding to the helmet melts and becomes loose when the helmet is exposed to any temp higher than 80 degrees. This is a problem as we live in a hot and humid state and frequently play in temps well over 80.Also, the helmet cannot be left in a vehicle with other baseball gear, or you run the risk of the adhesive melting and the padding falling out of the helmet.We have not had this issue with other brands, and I suppose we will need to go back to using them since EvoShield has this issue and it renders the helmet useless.You would think that with EvoShield being a premier brand in the baseball world they would have realized that some of the places where baseball is most popular (FL, CA, AZ TX) are HOT states, and adjusted their adhesive accordingly.Styling, looks and overall safety ratings are great. Just wish they would fix the padding issue.
