Very nice and compact, however, I am disappointed about the thickness of the line. It feels a little thin and flimsy.

Like the other reviewers, I really like this spool because it's very light, stirdy and has a larger finger hole so easy to use with gloves. No need to cut any line as the boltsnap can be clipped off pretty easily without. The one point of critique is indeed the size of the loop at the end. The only way to get the spool through this loop is by threading it through the little hole in the metal swivel without tying a knot (see picture). As the loop has a piece of rubber covering a knot I'm quite confident this will hold.

Son excesivamente pequeños y los elásticos muy rígidos, no funcionan

I had to get use to it. Spool is small but does work and I like the swivel, it doesnt get tangle while holding it. They should make a bigger size for dive profeasionals.

I'm both a Side Hustle SCUBA Instructor, and frequent Recreational Vacation Diver. I have every kind of reel and spool out there, yet this spool filled a void perfectly I somehow managed to still have.Things I love about this spool, and what I intend to use it for. Because of the flat line (think dental floss shape), this spool is incredibly compact. In fact so compact, it's a full 1/2" smaller in diameter than my 50 ft spool with the rounded line. That's TWICE the line, in a smaller package. There are also 75% more holes around the rim, then my comparable spool, making it much easier to secure the line and keep it taught at any distance. Aluminum body, not going to crack like the plastic ones with repeated use of cramming a bolt snap into the holes. Smaller size and knurled spool rims make this truly a breeze to operate one handed, will be even more appreciated for those with small hands. Here is what I will use it for, and use it often. Travelling - this just made my travel setup that much lighter and roomier. Teaching/Guiding, I will use this as a visual reference for descent (attach a little weight to the end and let it rip); having that 100 ft of line makes this useable for honestly 99 out of every 100 dives. The 50 ft line does not. Visual reference for ascent (conversely, can shoot an SMB from 99 out of every 100 dives when teaching or guiding with the 100 ft) in the event a reference is needed. Lastly, marking an underwater object, or a new site to come back to and set an anchorage.Personally, what I would not use this spool for, is any sort of penetration diving. The lightness and shape of the line could more easily catch an edge and initiate a tear or breakage. I would also not use this spool for securing heavy object, tethering a float in high surf, or any higher load bearing task. In a pinch I would use it, but if planned properly would not.Highly recommend this spool for the uses I've mentioned. My absolute new favorite.
