Purchased for 1 job I had to do. Went after a 1/4" stainless bolt on our boat with this blade. Figured it would be a real pain and more than 1 blade. Much to my surprise, not only did it cut it, but held it up to the light after, and I couldn't even tell I'd cut anything. I'm convinced.

This review is for the EZARC Obsidian Carbide Oscillating Saw Blades, Multi Tool Blades Quick Release for Hard Metal, Nails, Bolts and Screws, 3-Pack£31.97 (was £32.97) at the time of reviewI had had to use some 4” nails to hold part of the roof on my shed down during the last storm at the start of this year, and the points had come through the frame and were sticking into the shed and very near the windows.I’ve used and angle grinder before to cut nails and screws and it works really well, but you get a bucket load of hot sparks flying off the blade.I used this on the three nails that were sticking through, and it cut them easily and quickly and without a single spark anywhere. I’ve used so-called metal blades in the past, and they’ve never done the job completely and tended to blunt very quickly. These blades worked fast and didn’t appear to blunt at all during my limited use. They fit my Einhell multi-tool perfectly and are slightly magnetic which held them in place while I tightened them down with the locking bolt. As long as you keep the blade straight and don’t twist it, it should last much better and longer than any others I have used in the past. The multi-tool is also a more controllable tool for this type of job as you can really get flush to a surface without damaging it.Expensive, but I think they are worth the money, so 5 stars from me and I am happy to recommend them.

EZARC Obsidian Carbide Oscillating Saw BladesIf you have ever tried to cut through an old bolt or screw with an oscillating saw, you will have found out that traditional steel blades are just not up to the job. Try using a standard steel rated blade on an old screw and it will quickly go blunt. I have had so called steel cutting blades go blunt without even barely scratching the surface of a screw. I live in a very old property where I come across very old screws and nails which are much harder than those you buy today. These EZARC Obsidian Carbide Oscillating Saw Blades are hopefully the answer. You receive 3 blades neatly presented in a blister pack, these will fit most brands of oscillating saw (an adapter is included for Dremel). It appears there are 3 types of steel cutting blades available: standard, carbide, and obsidian carbide. There is a huge difference amongst the 3 types with obsidian carbide being the toughest for cutting through steel. They are not cheap working out at just over a tenner each blade, but when you can slice through a nail or screw without causing further damage then in some cases it's worth paying the money. These fit my DeWalt oscillating tool without issue. I tried the blade out on a couple of ancient steel wood screws in an old window frame, the blade cut through without any issues. I'm not sure how long these will last, so at over a tenner each I shall reserve these for the older more stubborn bolts and screws.CONTENTS:3 x Obsidian Carbide Oscillating Saw BladesThank you for reading my review, I hope you have found it helpful.

Went through 3 steel door jambs and it didn't dull the blade at all. The outermost tooth broke off on either side pretty quickly, but i expected that. The part you actually cut with is still in perfect shape. Thier old ones would have lasted just as well, but these cut a little nicer, you don't have to change blades to make a faster cut on wood or vinyl. Shaped more like a wood blade than the older style. Much thinner kirf too.If you apply twisting motion the teeth will snap easily, because carbide is very brittle. So just cut straight when cutting metal, and they will last a very long time.
