My Parrot Loda is 73yrs + she blind I put her in a smaller cage she was unhappy. So I got her big cage out put her toys in I put in a net to catch her if she falls. This cover is the greatest it has magnets that covers all around the cage it's so easy the other one I had to throw over the play gym on top. After I got her back in her big cage. She was walking the perch climbing the ropes. I heard the sweetness THANK YOU FROM LODA. Please don't put your Parrot in a smaller cage. When I put her beautiful new cover on it's so easy on authentic hands. That sweet voice said NITE NITE. She was my Dad's Parrot, I'm 73 too we been together our whole lives. You will love this cover & it really nice looking on.

While it does it’s job of being blackout, the material is very low quality and light and the magnets really small, I returned it.

Magnets don’t have any streanth, just falls to the floor. Very thin material with strong chemical smell, too bad qulity!

I use this on a 22x24 cage for my Pineapple Green Cheek Conure. It attaches via magnets that are plenty strong enough. The margnets are encased around the top of the cover and attaches at the top along the perimeter of the cage. You can either give the bird total darkness or even fold a corner back to allow some light to enter their cage. My only concern about the product is that it's made out of a heavy duty plastic (black). Not machine washable like many other brands. You can however place it into a shower and spray it off if it were to become soiled. Overall, this is a well built and thought out design that does exactly what it's supposed to do. Can also be attached in less that 30 seconds with just one person. My cage is on wheels which helps me pull the cage awayfrom the wall to gain access to the backside and that's where initially begin installing it each nightI suggest allowing your baby to get into place where he sleeps because once the cover is in place, the cage is extremely dark inside. I leave one corner opened up for a few minutes to allow Moonpie to get into his "bed"/position before finally closing him up for the night.Also,eventhough the material is made from plastic, It is NOT a noisy material so it shouldn't startle your little feathered babies when putting on it taking off.Sweer dreams baby birds! ZzZzZzzz
