Govee has been nothing short of disappointing.Firstly, the initial excitement of receiving lights quickly turned into frustration when one of them stopped working after just three months. This is unacceptable for a product that should provide long-lasting illumination.The quality of these lights has left much to be desired. I expected a reliable and durable lighting solution, but what I received was far from it. The malfunctioning light has been a constant source of inconvenience, and it has made me question the trust I placed in Govee as a brand.My experience has been marred by this unfortunate incident, and I am left feeling unsatisfied with my purchase. I strongly believe that customers should not have to endure such issues, and I am disappointed by the lack of quality control in Govee's products.I sincerely hope that Govee takes customer feedback seriously and works towards improving the quality and durability of their lights. Until then, I cannot recommend this product, and I am left with no choice but to request a refund for my purchase.

Nice lights and good metal construction. Easy enough to control with the app and set colours, timers etc.The app is responsive and hasn’t had any trouble connecting.The screw mechanism for attaching the ground stake is well done and secure.Lost a star because you can’t link multiple spot light kits (2 lights each) together to use only 1 plug. So each set you install will need it’s own dedicated plug.Also, as it notes in the description the plug brick and separate switch are NOT waterproof… so you need to place them strategically outside if you want them to last.One more negative they could improve on is the preset light programs - they are all very fast and most are annoying for a backyard setting. LOLOnly 1 or 2 are actually usable. It looks like there is a way in the app to make your own, but I haven’t been able to figure it out.But as simple spot lights you can control with your phone or a timer, they are pretty good.

We have other products made by Govee to include the curtain lights, outdoor strip lights, christmas lights, and outdoor permanent lights. So we’ve only begun to touch the surface on these Govee spotlights. So far the two pack are bright enough to light up one half side of our house. I might buy more to light up the tree in the future. My only concern in longevity as I’ve read other reviews talk about water getting inside. So far we’ve had two rain storms and everything is fine. We keep the controller and electrical in a water tight box. I only plan on using these lights from Nov to Jan then I’ll store them with some of my other lights. I like that it can all be integrated and grouped together with the other govee products. The picture I posted is the two spotlights at 50% brightness. It’s way too bright at 100%, and the lower you make it the longer the lights will last, hopefully. Can’t wait to see what it’ll look like next year once I get everything connected. Hopefully, I’ll remember to come back and provide an update if anything changes. Overall, very happy with govee products!
