First time replacing valve cover gaskets and this set made it extremely easy. They fit perfectly around the valve cover.

This gasket kit has held up amazing! No leaks whatsoever after almost 18 months on the car. Perfect for outside the box. While it can be a pain in the rear to install new valve cover gaskets on the accord, it’s worth it!

These are perfect and fit great. Make sure to be very cautious when prying out the old spark tube seals from the valve cover. I used an 18" pry bar and they came out relatively easy. When installing the new spark tube seals I used a large rubber mallet/ deadblow. I simply gave them some gentle love taps an they went right in. Definitely lubricate the seals and the spark tube with fresh engine oil before forcing them on or you will cut them and have leaks.... Ask me how I know that...For the valve cover bolts I snipped off the old seals, put them in a vice, and used a socket and hammer to bump them on and it worked great. Also check the valve cover for wear around the tube seals. My front valve cover looked good on the outside, but the inside had completely deteriorated until it was paper thin. Had to replace that too.

Nice gaskets. Seemed to be good quality and fit nicely. The bolt grommets slide on relatively easily (I didn’t have to use a socket to help push them on) which saved time and effort. I installed these last week and no leaking.

If you’re hear, you’re a DIYer.The removal of those old spark plugs seals is going to be the most challenging part of this project. There are many YouTube videos showing how to punch it out with a screwdriver and such. DON’T!!!!Most valve covers are aluminum and not steel and CAN get chipped and marked with the tool thus compromise the seal on the replacement. Try to pry up the old seals by leverage instead, less chance of making any mistakes and leaving any marks.I only found out about this because my back cover was leaking. And when also replacing the front cover as one job I found out that the front spark plugs seals was dented from a previous valve gaskets replacement from a repair shop about 3 years back. There were tool marks that caused my spark plugs tubes to be flooded (2 tubes out of 3) over times.Best of luck folks…..hey if crew up. They also sell the valve cover separately here on Amazon because that what I ended up doing. LOL.
