Great bike. Easy to assemble as ordered. Tires weather checked after one year. 3 speed hub works smooth and gearing works well for flat ground. Comfortable to ride as I’m 6’ tall.

Oh man do I love this bike!!!It rides so smooth and awesome. There is a little bit of ride noise “chain” when in 3rd gear but nothing terrible. The gears switch smoothly and the seat is extra comfortable. It’s assembled quickly and is the perfect size for me I’m 5”10 170lbs. The bike is very stylish and always turns heads. I would recommend this bike to anyone.

I'm 6' 1" 230 lbs and this bike could easily carry more weight. I think the specs said it weighed 40 lbs or something like that but it really doesn't feel that heavy. I have a fun neighborhood as far as bike riding because everything is relatively flat with a lot of bike lanes and 2 mile long loops. I took it downtown one day which is about 3.2 miles away and it did pretty good. I was definitely feeling it a little as I'm 48 and this is definitely not a small bike. But I must say it is extremely fun to ride as you are in an upright position and have plenty of leg space for pedaling. I don't know if I would want to take this thing on say a 10 mile ride (twenty mile round trip) though. I think it would get pretty taxing after awhile. But, to keep things in perspective, I'm definitely a slow cruising, leisure rider. This has nothing to do with the bike. I'm just trying to point out the characteristics of the bike and what to expect if your anything like me. As far as quality, you have nothing to fear. Just don't overtighten the alloy seat clamp. I snapped mine tightening it with a socket wrench :) I also got the 7 speed version although I thought the 3 speed version looked awesome and less cluttery. I'm glad I did because even the small hills I need to climb around the neighborhood require high gears to climb comfortably. Single and 3 speed just wouldn't have cut it. After the first small hill climb, I was extremely happy I purchased the 7 speed. Other than that, their is not much to say about this wonderful bike. For 300 bucks it's really a no brainer. Great looking, comfortable cruiser that you'll enjoy for years to come.

This bike has turned out to be a very good purchase for me.I live on my boat in Los Angles and am able to attend to 90% of my brick and mortar shopping without using my car since this bike is beefy and has no problem handling a couple of saddle bag type baskets as well as a basket on the handlebars. A 36 pack of canned beer rides securely on the rear rack held in place with bungee cordsI bought the three speed model and am glad I did. Even though the area around us is pretty flat there are a few sloped ramps, on our great local bike paths, that make me appreciate the ability to shift down. Down wind on a level surface, or down hill, the high gear is useful. Some days the breeze off the ocean is strong enough to cause me to shift down when headed up wind. The three speed has no derailleur so the bike has a chain guard. This bike is very easy to ride and takes a lot of the back and hand stress out of riding my bike. Im 72 and outgrew dropped handlebars about half a century ago.It took me a few days to get used to coaster brakes again, after decades of cool bikes with hand brakes. But now Im cool with the coaster brake and really like the lack of clutter on the handle bars.I added a bell, lights and a holder for my smart phone. I also added a really nice rear view mirror which is a great safety feature. I got a nice beefy lock on Amazon and really like the fact that I can drop it in my basket instead of going to the trouble of installing it on the mount on the bike every time I take off.Since I live in southern California fenders seemed pointless so I skipped that accessory. The bike is easy to ride with its big tires but is not fast. If you want a fast bike a beach cruiser is probably not what you should buy.Unless I have some compelling reason to get in my car I do all my local travel on my bike. Its easier, faster many times, and there are no parking hassles or cost. I rode it 25 miles round trip to a doctor appointment a week ago. It was along the beach where there is a nice bike path and lots of scenery. It was not an exhausting experience but then I was not in a big hurry. As I ride to the gym every morning Im passed by cyclists on high tech bikes who are bent into incredibly uncomfortable looking positions over their dropped handle bars. As they zoom past I reflect on the fact that I definitely bought the right bike for me and also that some people should not be wearing lycra cycling outfits. The only negative about this purchase was that the packaging on the bike was not adequate to protect it in shipment. The three speed shifter on the rear axel had broken through the cardboard box and got scratched up in shipment. The damage did not look like it was more than cosmetic and I did not want o hassle with repacking the bike to return it so I went ahead and accepted as it was.

Rarely do I write product reviews but this purchase warrants a full write up. Having just returned from New Orleans after having rented beach cruisers I decided that it was time to enjoy the full comfort of an easy riding bike. I looked at review after review (thank you product owners) and ended up with the Firmstrong Three Speed beach cruiser. Shipping was timely and all of the pieces and parts were well protected and undamaged. Assembly was a breeze. After literally 20 minutes I was riding around my neighborhood at night. The brakes were very responsive and the chain was attached firmly and securely. Shifting through the gears is a breeze and while a little more noisy in 2nd and 3rd gear it is still very quiet. I'm glad I opted for the three speed version as I do have some hills here in ABQ and the lone cable makes for a really clean look. The It did take some time to adjust the handlebars and seat height but once set this is one of the most comfortable bikes you will ride. Not only is it comfortable but it looks bad ass. The green rims really stand out against the matte black finish. I completed the bike with a rear rack and basket and matte black fenders and I get so many compliments on the bike. I have been riding nearly everyday to work since I purchased it and the few days that I haven't, I just rode around the neighborhood at night. This bike is a joy to ride and brought me back to cycling. I couldn't wait to post my review and picture. I'm very happy with the purchase. VERY HGHLY RECCOMENDED.
