You have to know what you are doing. First find the stud then mark the other holes and use one of their anchors. Second - use the washers provided.Great item for $20 instead of $40 for other similar advertised items.

Overall this product is pretty slick and does its job. I have an inflatable paddleboard weight about 25 lbs that I keep inflated over the summer. Only took about 10 minutes to mount.My only complaint is the quality control. There were some scratches and creases. Returned and they sent me a new one with the same problem. Doesn’t impact the integrity of product.Would recommend for those who want a simple rack to hold your board

I did an extreme amount of research on these, which was silly. I love this rack. It’s super compact and does the job perfect. Sturdy, love the option to have the arms sort or long. Hanging was super easy. The only thing is depending on where you are hanging it in the wall you may need longer screws than what is provided. My garage wall had extra thick sheet rock and then the stud-but nothing $0.15 at hardware store couldn’t easily solve. Totally recommend.
