My toddlers snapped the Nanit flex stand and I was hoping this stand would be a good substitute. The stand itself is extremely light. The base is hollow plastic, and with the camera attached, it's pretty top heavy. The part where you connect the camera is a loose wire. Initially I thought it was solid like the OEM stand, so I just popped the camera in. But when it wasn't connecting, I double checked and realized that I had to pull the cable out a bit to plug it in before popping the camera into the silicone "frame".Once connect, the camera is functioning as the wall mount profile. The app does not recognize the connection as a Flex Stand connection. You can't set the alert zone and get notifications related to that. The temperature and humidity also does not work when using this stand.

I've had the official multi-stand and traveled with it, but it cracked in my suitcase despite being within the branded case. This seems to solve the problem that the other stand had! The silicone keeps the camera secure on the stand, unlike the branded stand. The hinge in the camera base is sturdy and does not flop around easily. The base is a little lightweight, so that could make it tip-heavy in certain spots, but that is offset by the screw hole in the bottom - if you needed it to go horizontal, you could use another mount or tripod to make that happen. When using the stand, I don't get temperature or humidity data, but it doesn't seem to be limited otherwise like the multi-stand in terms of choosing crib position and using breathing motion/collecting sleep data.

I’m so happy with it, I got it for my Nanit Monitor. It keeps the monitor really stable, I love that I can use it both on a tabletop and mount it on the wall – it’s super versatile! It also comes with everything you need, like the USB-C charging cable and power adapter. The design is sleek and fits perfectly with any room. Plus, it’s portable, which is great for traveling.

The Nanit brand multistand is insanely expensive so I was happy to find an affordable replacement!! It's a decent weight, camera fits and works, and seems to hold the camera up fine. Ours is sitting pretty straightforward on the stand and we don't need to tilt it to an angle so I can't speak to that as a previous commenter mentioned. There are some aspects of the nanit app that it doesn't work for, so I removed one star, but we are basically using this for is monitoring and when traveling so we won't need those functions. I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase, and SO happy to find one at an affordable price!!!
